“Great Location”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2019

Just back from a week at Rose Cottage. Everything that we needed was there and the cottage is in a delightful location. Great views and garden for relaxing in. Port Logan is within walking distance with its lovely little harbour and plenty of places to visit within driving distance.

“Excellent Cottage”

Reviewed 14 Jul 2019

Excellent cottage. Very clean and everything you could wish for. Owner is very helpful and friendly. Pleasant garden with plenty of space. We were fascinated watching the variety of birds on the feeder. Plenty of walks in the area and only a ten minute walk into Port Logan. Logan gardens a 5 minute drive away. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again. Exceptional value for money.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for your lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Kind regards Steve and Marie

“Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle”

Reviewed 1 Apr 2019

Beautiful location, 15 minute walk from the beach, amazing sunsets! The cottage was delightful, spotlessly clean, had everything you could possibly need. Greeted by Stephen the owner who was very friendly, and helpful when we struggled to connect to the internet. Watched a hare in the garden most mornings and woodpecker on the bird feeder. We were able to take our dog, who had use of the field. Weather was really good too. Visited all local attractions - Mull of Galloway the favourite, Ryan Centre a must for children, loved the flumes. Wished we'd booked for longer! Will definitely return.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for a lovely review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again. Marie & Steve

“Charming, well appointed cottage in peaceful location”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2019

We stayed at Rose Cottage with our elderly dog. The accommodationn is very comfortable and well equipped; we lacked for nothing. It was ideal for two people. I didn’t find the owner, Stephen, very approachable which was the only reason I’m giving this four rather than five stars.

Owner's reply: Thank you for a lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Rose Cottage. Not sure how approachable I needed to be but thanks for the comments. Kind regards Steve and Marie

“Beautiful countryside cottage”

Reviewed 28 Aug 2018

Clean picturesque cottage with lovely views of the gardens and countryside. Every thing you need provided for your stay. Bonus of fully enclosed garden for our dog to roam straight from the back door. Garden visited by a multitude of birds including a Green Woodpecker and a Sparrow Hawk not forgetting the Heron which stole Steve’s fish. Lovely part of the country with many gardens and Nature Reserves to visit. Would recommend staying here.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for a lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in the cottage . Kind regards Steve and Marie

“Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings!”

Reviewed 7 Apr 2018

We stayed in Rose Cottage for 4 nights in April. The cottage is exceptionally clean and has everything you could need. The views are beautiful and the beach at Port Logan, a 10 minute walk away is lovely too. It was our dog Finn’s first visit to the beach and he loved it. Weather was very cold and wet at times. Had one glorious day of sunshine which let us see the area in all it’s glory. Lots to see and do nearby. Owners were great and replied to my emails very quickly. We would highly recommend Rose Cottage. Thank you!

Owner's reply: Many thanks for such a positive review. We are always pleased when our guests enjoy the cottage and the surrounding countryside. Thanks again. !!
