From the owner

The Bower Cottage provides luxury self-catering accommodation in a contemporary style. Originally built in the 1700's this thatched cottage tells a thousand tales. Bower Cottage has 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 7 people consisting of a double bed and triple bedroom on the 1st floor and bunk beds to the ground floor with en-suite facility. The 1st floor bedrooms both have wall mounted flat screen Freeview TV's and built in double wardrobes. It also has a further two bathrooms, one located on the 1st floor and the other located on the ground floor. Log burners are fitted in both the living room and dining rooms ( Log burner in the dining room also has a top oven facility )

The Bower also has front and rear courtyards both with dining areas and seating. The rear courtyard has an outside shower facility which is useful after those long days on the beach. The Cottage has a gated driveway with parking for 3 cars.

Located in the heart of the Port Eynon village and is an ideal base for beach lovers, walkers, families and groups. The ship Inn and Smuggler's Haunt are seconds away from the Bower Cottage. A one minute stroll takes you to the award winning glorious beach, sand dunes and stunning cliff walks with beautiful views. An adequate supply of logs and kindling are supplied

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mark (the owner) a message.

If Mark (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
