Located just a short stroll away from the beautiful beach at Port Eynon is this recently refurbished spacious 2 bedroom(sleeps 6/7) Bungalow with large lounge and French doors leading to small decked area with views across Port Eynon Bay,family bathroom with shower over bath and fully fitted/equipped kitchen.Gardens to the front and rear and secure storage for bicycles etc.

Port Eynon is the most southerly point on Gower and is thought to be named after an Eleventh Century Welsh Prince, Eynon. It is believed that he built Port Eynon castle which has disappeared over the years.

Port Eynon is one of the Gower's most popular beaches, well-served by caravan and camping sites. The "Blue Flag" beach is safe, sandy and close to a mile long, backed by dunes and is easily accessible. There is a small slipway for launching diving and fishing boats.

Other activities include surfing and windsurfing,one of the highlights being a thrill seeking ride on Gower Coast Adventure's Sea Serpent.

"A 10 metre purpose-built R.H.I.B. (rigid hulled inflatable boat) with a powerful 315hp marine turbo diesel engine.

The boat is fitted with water jet propulsion which is environmentally kind to marine wildlife and enables passengers to embark from shallow water.

Sea serpent is capable of speeds in excess of 30 knots, although we usually cruise around 20 to 25 knots.

All 12 passengers enjoy their own comfortable individual seat with grab handles. Sea Serpent is certified to follow the stringent code of practice set by the M.C.A. (Maritime & Coastguard Agency).

We carry full safety equipment, including up-to-date electronic navigational aids, personal life jackets, waterproofs, a life raft and much more"

Plenty of parking and a short walk across the beach to the village of Horton.

The Ship Inn which has recently been refurbished and has a 4.3 rating on Trip Advisor is just a 5 minute walk away,you also have Beach front cafes,fish and chips and a gift shop.

Public transport is good throughout the season, and buses link the beaches so you walk to a beach and catch the bus back. Port Eynon is situated on the Wales Coastal path and is well signposted from Rhossili and Oxwich.

Gower is also the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing round of Golf. There are currently five clubs in Gower, Gower Golf Club, Clyne Golf Club, Langland Bay Golf Club, Fairwood Park Golf Club and Pennard Golf Club. All have fantastic views over the coast or surrounding countryside.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Eddie (the owner) a message.

If Eddie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
