This ground floor cottage is located on the edge of the village of Caethro near to Caernarfon and can sleep two people in one bedroom.Poppy Cottage is one of five stone-built holiday properties called Tyddyn Whisgin Cottages, located close to the village of Caeathro on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage sleeps three people and has one double bedroom, a wet room and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a single sofa bed, which is suitable for a child up to 13 years old. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed patio with furniture. Poppy Cottage provides superbly well-equipped, quality accommodation throughout and provides a great base from which to discover the numerous leisure activities available in this fantastic part of North Wales.

Amenities: LPG underfloor central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, wall-mounted combi TV/DVD, WiFi. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate with prior notice. Off road parking for two cars. Shared bike storage. Shared use of games room incl. pool table with adjoining area for outdoor clothes, boots etc. Shared use of washing machine in a communal boot/laundry room, available at a small charge. Enclosed rear patio with furniture and views towards the Menai Straits and Anglesey. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pub 2 miles. Note: There is no pavement on the road leading to the shop and pub. Note: Fold up single bed (suitable for a child up to 13 years old only) available on request.

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Caeathro is a small rural North Wales village close to the Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. The village has its own shop and pub, and is just two miles from the popular tourist destination of Caernarfon with its 13th Century castle, old town walls and smart waterfront. Caernarfon offers a fine selection of shops and places to eat, as well as a station for the Welsh Highland Railway where you can catch a train that takes you through breathtaking scenery; guided tours of the castle and historic pageants during the season; and sea-fishing trips off the coast of Anglesey. The gorgeous beaches of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula are easily accessed from this location, and many climbing, walking, mountain biking, golfing and water sports opportunities are all within reach nearby.
