Description from owner

Description

The Old Ship'pon is the middle cottage in a terrace of 3 outstandingly, tastefully converted farm buildings. It is situated in the hamlet of Pen-y-Cefn just outside the town of Caerwys, Flintshire. This barn conversion allows the comfort and luxury of a very stylish, modern interior encased in a very traditional exterior. The cottages are adjacent to our working farm which converted from a dairy herd to beef in 2010. From the doorstep there is access to public footpaths and bridleways to explore the local area with its hidden history. Further afield you can visit the beaches of Prestatyn and Llandudno - The Great Orme provides for fantastic views and miles of walking. Snowdonia is within easy driving distance for those keen to scale to the summit of Snowdon - or take the train. Historic Chester is 30 minutes away with its architecture, shopping, races and of course the zoo.
The property boasts a spacious kitchen and dining area with archway through to an ample lounge with leather

The property boasts a spacious kitchen and dining area with archway through to an ample lounge with leather seating and TV, DVD and CD player with Ipod station. Oak wood flooring to the lounge and tiling in the kitchen area allows you to feel the benefit of the underfloor heating. The downstairs shower room with WC and wash basin is accessed from the entrance hall. The stairs from the lounge take you to a landing that allows access to the bedrooms - one double with TV and one twin. Both with sloping ceilings. Oak furniture allows plenty of storage in the bedrooms. All the upstairs is carpeted and heating is by radiators.
Outside this cottage a lawned area and patio furniture is provided along with parking for up to 2 cars.
