Newly renovated into a modern and luxurious spacious retreat, the house has spectacular views across Nidderdale and is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Set in 3 acres of picturesque grounds which could be yours for a long weekend or midweek getaway.

Lovingly restored from derelict ruins over the last ten years, you will enter the house through a grand double height hallway with stunning marble floor.

Downstairs you will find a double aspect lounge with beautiful views, a bar for you and your guests to play bartender in, a house dining room which has 2 tables seating 8 guests at each table and fully equipped kitchen with large center island and traditional AGA.

In addition there is also an elegant private event room which can be hired for a small fee. This dining room will be dressed for dinner making your special occasion perfect. We also offer the opportunity to have private dining should you wish to celebrate in style by having a chef come and cook for you and your guests. After booking you will be given a list of activities and suppliers in our detailed house guide. Whether you want to splash out on a hot tub or to have a Murder Mystery or casino Night, or completely relax by having a massage or pampering session, we have a long list that will make your gathering one to remember!

Upstairs in the house are 8 luxurious bedrooms, all with either king, super king or emperor size beds, and all with en-suite bathrooms, featuring TVs at the end of the baths, Jacuzzi's and even double Jacuzzi's. Each bedroom is designed in a different style, and we will send you information about the rooms so you can advise your guests which room will be best suited to their needs. We also have a ground floor room with private terrace (this room is not a disabled room) plus a bedroom with a private lounge which has a sofa bed which can be made into a bed for a 17th guest if needed.

You can book the whole house for a minimum of two nights or more self-catering starting from £1200 per night depending on the time of year. We offer discounts for weekly rentals.

Small Weddings are available at a different rate but must be booked privately.

The local area has plenty to keep you occupied. Set on the outskirts of Pateley Bridge, the Hall has a tranquil and rural feel, with the bonus of being able to walk to the town in just ten minutes. Nidderdale has spectacular scenery and is an ideal base for walking and cycling. The local town which can be walked into, has shops, pubs and restaurants, and will keep you busy during the day. The area is well known for outdoor activities and is situated in the center of the Nidderdale way, but if you simply want to relax and unwind then the beautiful gardens of Grassfield Hall will be perfect for you.

Just a short drive away are both Harrogate and York. All the information you will need to plan your activities are in the house guide. If you are planning a family celebration or gathering of friends, why not hire Grassfield Hall. We offer exclusive use of the house and grounds for that special occasion.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lisa (the owner) a message.

If Lisa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
