This property is located over the hill and through the woods- with a beautiful overlook view of Daniel's Lake. Enjoy coffee on the deck or on the gazebo next to the lake shore. Easy lake access for enjoying a canoe, kayak, or float plane. This is a tranquil property with close access to a local grocery store & restaurant. The Lake House is conveniently located on the way to Captain Cook Park where there is opportunity to comb the beach for agates or hike the trail to Bishop Creek where fun is had mud slipping or tubing.

This 4 bedroom/2 bath home was built in 1983 as my parents dream home. It is a split level, 2-story home, with large windows in the living and dining area to enjoy gorgeous Daniels Lake in Nikiski, Alaska. Newly updated (2017) carpet, paint and new kitchen appliances. No frills living here, this home is simple and comfortable. Ample space to move on the 4 acres of lake property. Home has washer/dryer, tub-shower combo upstairs bathroom, with a walk in shower in downstairs bathroom.

(*Please note: No extra freezer space available to store your daily catch we kindly ask you to make arrangements with any of the numerous local seafood freezer/packers to process your Alaska catch.)

The Lake House is heated with electric baseboard and oil fueled monitor heaters. This home reflects some years of wear, yet with love it has cleaned up beautifully and offers spectacular lake views and a warm welcome to all who venture here. We welcome you to enjoy the wooded tranquility and peaceful surroundings of the lake.

As a guest at The Lake House we hope you will be entertained by the moose roaming at will through the yard,. Please enjoy the lake loons frequent call, along with constant activity of the many species of water fowl as they rear their young. Even large neighboring dogs are friendly entertainment to anyone within the vicinity of their roaming through the nearby woods.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
