The house is well ventilated. Even in the hottest days of summer you can still feel a breeze that comes from the sea near Camaiore (20 km distance ).
There's no traffic near the house because the road is about 30 m away. Cars can be parked at the beginning of the “Borgo”.
The location is ideal for nature lovers. It is a perfect place to start long walks and excursions.
The proximity of places like Lucca, San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence, Volterra and the sea make Casa Berretto the ideal place to go sightseeing with lots of historic and natural opportunities nearby. The house was completely renovated in 2011 with attention for original features and small details. It has 3 floors. The living room and kitchen are on the first floor, which is typical for the houses in this area. To enjoy the splendid location we created a new terrace to sit in the warm sun, with a large table to have lunch or dinner by candle light.
On the second floor there is a double bedroom with a private bathroom and on the ground floor one double bedroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed and the second bathroom.
The house is fully equipped with all the comforts including a washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen equipment, WiFi connection and chairs etc. for in the garden.
