A group of eight friends spent a week in this amazing property. The villa was very clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool was fantastic, very warm and was used to full advantage due to the beautiful weather. Lovely open spaces for relaxing, eating and drinking in the shade. Roberta made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived . The house was spotlessly clean and is of a contemporary restored Italian design . There is so much space in the kitchen and living rooms with the most magical views through the huge arched original barn windows . The pool area was what my family of 7 ( grown up children) enjoyed the most . The pool was refreshing and a great place to lounge around or if feeling more energetic , a perfect place for competitive family water polo! We spent our evenings in Lucca and a wonderful day by train to Florence then wine tasting in the Chianti region . Although in the city centre the apartment was quiet. Well fitted out with various utensils if you wish to eat in. However as said numerous restaurants on your doorstep. We had such a lovely stay here, the villa was great with everything we needed and homely touches in a quiet location. Fantastic villa and location - lots to see and do

A beautiful, spacious, very Tuscan villa with very helpful owners. We were a family party with teenagers and could either relax in the villa or pool, or visit the many fascinating places (and restaurants and ice cream shops!) in the area. We loved making pizzas in the villa with Michelangelo and visiting Pisa, Florence, Cinqe Terre, Viareggio and various charming mountain towns. Lucca is so close and lovely, with many interesting streets and piazzas to explore. We were there during Lucca's summer festival so also went to a concert in the Piazza one evening. An amazing week at the very lovely Tuscan farmhouse

The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated. A small kitchen but we used the outside pizza oven and ate outside in the cooler evening shade. The thick walls of the ancient farm house made the inside pleasant even in the heat of midday. The pool was amazing and used by everyone from 7-70! Sylvia was really pleasant and very helpful ; maybe it would have been nice to have two house keys and two gate fobs? It would have made it easier for coming and goings. We also found the recycling challenging; maybe separate colour bins outside might work! However nothing spoil tour time there. Thank you . P.s. Central Lucca Location with easy access to Train Station

Lovely two-bedroom first floor apartment within Lucca, opposite the Guinigi Tower. Access to and from the train station is an easy 10 minutes walk. This was important to us as we used Lucca as a base to do day trips to Florence, Pisa, Forte dei Marmi etc. Lucca itself is a beautiful town with lots of sights, easy to walk or cycle. A small Supermarket is around the corner for easy Provisions shopping. The apartment is of a good size, very comfortable and has all the amenities you need to make it your home for a few days. During our stay it was incredibly hot and although Fans are provided, it still was very hot during the night. Added to that, leaving the windows open is ok but the street lights of the narrow passage ways are on until the early morning and sound also carries very easily on the thoroughfare that remains busy until late. Overall a very pleasant stay experience with a nice touch from Francesca, the Owner with a welcome bottle of Prosecco. … see more
The Nest
It was perfect

The minute we got here the family were very welcoming, friendly and helped in every way they could to ensure our stay was such an enjoyable experience. The property was superb and we both fell in love with it.. It was spacious and immaculate and so comfortable to be in. We didn't want to hire a car for our stay in Lucca but we found the location was perfect for trains or buses that we used for sightseeing. We were also able to walk or cycle into the walled city. The owners kindly provided us with the bikes which we really enjoyed using. We had a local supermarket not far from the house which sold everything we need for our stay.(They also sold plenty of gluten free foods which I need for my diet.) We had a lovely garden area to relax in outside the house and a huge secluded grass area for sunbathing. We couldn't find anything to fault this beautiful nest and we were both qenuinely sad for our holiday to end and have to leave. We will definitely visit again and can't thank Fiorella ,Carlo and Thomasso enough for their hospitality. Such lovely people.Thank you xx … see more

I spent a week in this lovely apartment which is ideally situated in a quiet side street but only a few meters away from all this fabulous city has to offer. The apartment itself is a great size and provides all that you could ask for (the washing machine being a huge bonus) and makes you feel like your living 'la dolce vita' .The outside terrace was a huge bonus . I visited this property in October 2016 (party of 5) for 10 nights. When we seen the pictures of this villa online we thought wow but when we actually arrived the pictures done the property no justice at all, It was absolutely out of this world. The property is very spacious, has all your needs and the pool area is amazing. Tony, Sabrina and Giovani were so kind and friendly during our stay and were always there to help and guide us. It says online you receive a welcome pack when arriving to the property, this welcome pack included all necessities needed while staying in a villa and more. It is situated in a quiet village only 10 minutes from the beautiful city Lucca. It has lovely restaurants (da pinzo and il giardentto) was our personal favourites in the village. The town has a gorgeous ice cream palour and bar called Sauros. Would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay and experience the Tuscan Region. … see more
