This modern home benefits from a wonderful sea view of the 3 needles off the coast of the Isle of White and along the coast to Bournemouth.

The house sits over 3 floors (137.5m² / 1481 ft²). On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms (one with en-suite), one faces the sea view and the other has French windows onto the patio in the rear garden, there is also a utility room with washing machine and extra fridge. On the 1st floor there is an open plan living, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen features NEFF ovens, wine fridge, under the counter fridge and separate freezer. Cupboards are fully equipped with utensils for every occasion, there is also a toaster, kettle and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. There is also a balcony off the living area to take in the lovely view with a Sundowner Gin and Tonic whilst watching the sun set behind Bournemouth. There is also a separate toilet. On the 2nd floor is a mezzanine floor bedroom with en-suite shower.

Each bedroom has beds that can either be superking or twins, so please specify what suits your stay. Bedroom 1 on the mezzanine also features a single sofa bed and Bed 2 also benefits a guest bed that is stored under the divan superking so the house sleeps 6 adults and 2 children comfortably (The 2 extra beds are charged at £20 each which needs to be highlighted in your enquiry).

White bed linen is provided, any staining will result in charges (it is recommended not to use self-tan products).

White towels are also provided for indoor use ONLY and again staining (from make up, hair dye and self-tan products) will result in charges. Beach towels are not provided, please bring your own.

We do accept dogs, please let us know if you intend on bringing your pet. Certain size breeds or too many dogs may not be accepted. There is an additonal pet fee of £50.

The house has use of a garage and parking space outside the garage as well as first come first served access to one visitor space.

The house is near the needles café, a busy hotspot for walkers and cyclists and it also has a children’s play area. A 5 to 10 minute walk in either direction along the coast takes you to a pub / restaurant and another 5-10 minute walk inland takes you to the heart of the village where there a many local amenities including coffee shops, restaurants (English, French, Thai, Indian) and newsagents and Co-Op, fruit & vegetable shop and alike.

From Milford-On-Sea there are some lovely coastal walks, why not try going through Keyhaven to Lymington.

Lymington and New Milton are 10 minute drives away for a wider shopping choice.

Milford-On-Sea has a pebble beach and just 20 minutes’ drive away Muddeford has a sandy beach.

Walking isn't a problem around Milford On Sea, it is fairly flat. There is a bus X1 that runs from Bournemouth to Lymington. The easiest way to get around is the use of a car.

We have recently added allowing dogs but this is at the owners discretion depending on number of, size, breed and age etc. An extra fee will be applied and guests are asked to inform us before booking.

Having visited Milford On Sea as a family for over 70 years we were well accustomed to the area and it was the reason we chose the venue for our family Golden Wedding Celebration. We all agreed - 3 generations - that the house itself was beautiful and very well appointed. The situation is excellent in walking distance of the village and the beach and opportunities of different beach walks each day. Access and Parking are excellent and very convenient. If one has any criticism, the lawn was non existent and with the path covered by the lavender, which was magnificent, it did mean that on a wet day, walking up to the back door meant that shoes were always dirty and while one left them downstairs it did mean the hall floor - the access to bedrooms was often dirty and had to be cleaned each day to prevent any soiling of the cream carpets. The equipment in the house with all the modern gadgets were somewhat difficult for us oldies, but thank goodness the two younger generations were able to sort us out!! We left the wifi alone and the television - DVD system had to be explained!! however, when it was sorted it was excellent. These two observations are minor but just worth considering. Overall this is a stunning House in a once ln a lifetime location (for us - Milford aficionados) The views from the balcony, lounge and upper bedroom are stunning. All we wanted was the sight of the Q.E. 2 passing the Needles - which I have somewhere !! Thank you.

Owner's reply: Thanks Richard, I have asked the gardener to clear the path of the lavender, the lawn unfortunately had a difficult period in the spring and I thought it was best left than prevent any guest not being to use it. The house manual contains information on how to use the TV etc, unfortunately all systems and menus different slightly. I am pleased you enjoyed it overall and found the house and location as described. Best wishes and happy anniversary year. Ian and family

How do damage deposits work?

If Ian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
