This bright and homely three storey terraced house is located in the peaceful Meads Village, Eastbourne, only minutes walk from the beach. With two triple and one double bedroom (with en-suite), the house comfortably sleeps 8, with a rear patio area allowing for Al Fresco dining.

The Lounge

On the ground floor, with a large comfy leather sofa, matching armchairs, and TV cabinet, offer a cosy room for a relaxing evening in, or the local pub is only around the corner if you feel like something more energetic.


Also located on the ground floor is a spacious modern kitchen, fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, washing machine, double oven, electric induction hob, and dishwasher. There is ample storage space and a range of crockery, pots and cooking utensils. There is an extendable dining table that sits up to 8, and with underfloor heating this is the perfect place to relax and unwind over a good meal.

Bedroom 1 (Beige)

Located at the front of the house on the first floor, this room has 3 beds with bedside tables, an ample double wardrobe and a small dining table. The beds can be easily moved together, or can be used as singles.

Bedroom 2 (Blue)

Located at the back of the house also on the first floor, the room has as similarly 3 beds. Once again the beds can easily be moved and arranged as either doubles of singles. The room has a bedside table as well as a writing desk - perfect for writing all your "wish you were here" postcards.

Bedroom 3 (En-suite)

The master bedroom is located on the top floor of the house with a double bed and an en suit shower room (with WC unit and washbasin), including under floor heating. A spacious built-in wardrobe provides ample storage space.

Bathroom and Cloakroom

The family bathroom is equipped with a bath and power shower, as well as washbasin, WC and heated towel rails. There is an additional WC with washbasin on the first half landing.

Outside and Beyond

A door from the kitchen leads to the back patio area with table and chairs for Al Fresco dining.

The garage can also be accessed from the patio area by the spacial arrangement (it is NOT included in the price). Guest parking permits could be provided and there is also FREE parking at Darley Road (100 m from the house)

The house is located in a beautiful residential district of Meads, just a short 5-10 min. walking distance from the sea front and 20 minutes from the Eastbourne Pier and the town centre. Just round the corner on Meads Street there are two charming local pubs with spacious beer gardens: 'The Ship' and further down the road 'The Pilot'. Also on Meads Street you will find Chineese restaurant, cafes, several local grocery shops including Tesco and Co-op. There are also several schools nearby including St.Bedes, St Andrew's, St John's and Moira House Girls School. This is also an ideal location for Brighton University Eastbourne campus.

Short walk to The South Downs National Park.

A bus route into town & train Station with trains that serve Brighton, Hastings, Gatwick, London, Ashford International.

The house needs to be left as found. We expect all furniture, curtains, fixtures in place, rubbish bins emptied to containers kept in the garage according to instructions, personal hygiene and other personal items removed from bathrooms, wardrobes and drawers, floors swept. In case of bookings longer than two weeks and group bookings we recommend additional weekly cleaning and linen change service at £140 a time. Please, ask for details.

We needed somewhere to stay close to Brighton for the World Cup rugby match. This house in Eastbourne worked very well for us. 3 Bedrooms - 1 double bed on-suite and two other rooms with 3 single beds each. Fully equipped kitchen. Little outside area with a Weber Bbq. We secured on-street parking (permits in the kitchen). The house was clean. Recommend for a family or friends weekend away.

We had not been to the Eastbourne area before and were very pleasantly surprised. There is lots to see and do as a family, and the house is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The town centre is a pleasant mile stroll away along the promenade. Beachy head is also within walking distance. A real bonus was having a small Tesco and Co-op only 2 minutes walk away. We had a double bedroom, and two others with 3 single beds in each. Downstairs was a bit compact for 8 people but the facilities were fine. The only minor drawbacks were rather a lack of cutlery and the toilet doors needed locks on. Overall it was very good value for money and we would certainly go back in future.
