Description

Bryn Clefion Hall is steeped in history and tradition and was once the hub of a bustling rural community. Situated on the banks of the River Clefion in the valleys of the Cambrian Mountains the house languishes in its own gardens including an arboretum. The hall has been tastefully refurbished recently in a manner sympathetic to the age of the property. There are four spacious bedrooms at Bryn Clefion all of which are en-suite and many with roll top baths. The large dining room, capable of seating at least 14 guests, is the perfect place for entertaining, and the roaring log fire in the adjacent sitting room adds to the atmosphere. The large, well equipped kitchen has a slate floor, kitchen table and an AGA, providing the ideal place for guests to prepare food and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or informal meal.

The North Wales region

The house is in a rural location; however, it sits on the edge of the Mallwyd village and near by Dinas Mawddwy. There is a small shop and post office in the village as well as the Brigands Inn. Not too far away are the market towns of Machynlleth and Dolgellau.

Anyone wishing to indulge themselves in beautiful, peaceful surroundings will not be disappointed.

Snowdonia/Gwynedd

The area surrounding the Hall is rife with activities such as salmon & sea trout fishing, golf, horse riding, quad trekking, cycling, swimming and tennis. There are also other activities such as walking on the many superb hills and montains in the area such as up Cadair Idris. Or perhaps some montain biking on the special trails around the forrests of Dolgellau, or clay shoting at the Dovery Valley centre?
