Today the estate has been converted to a luxury and exclusive Tuscan retreat in an ancient hamlet, surrounded by an amazing park with antique fountains and statues, magnificent ponds, courtyards full of beautiful flowers.
It features 12 luxury bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Upon request and for an additional charge we can add 2 extra beds. This historical villa can accomodate up to 26 people. The reservation includes a personal chef and maid service.
Completely renovated with prestigious materials and charming pieces of furniture, the property still maintains the traditional Tuscan flair: wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors, ornate fireplaces and big windows overlooking the surrounding hills and olive groves. A truly magic atmosphere!
The Villa has been recently restored and equipped with all modern comforts: air-conditioning, wifi, centralized music system, Tv-Sat.
This amazing estate offers a private swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers where you can relax, enjoying the peacefulness of the Tuscan countryside. Nearby the swimming pool there is a fitness room with access to the garden and a pretty living room with wicker furniture and big glass windows overlooking the pool area, the ideal place to read a book or get a relaxing massage or a beauty treatment.
BBQ and a vast alfresco dining area with seating for 26 people are located in an antique courtyard of the estate with an impressive “Peschiera”: a majestic fishpond.
The outdoor areas are superb, as well as the breathtaking interiors. A huge dining area for 26 people, an elegant and spacious living room furnished with Sat.tv, DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen in traditional Tuscan style. From the kitchen you can access the 'Peschiera' courtyard, the alfresco dining area and a patio with some tables, perfect for breakfast time.In the property there is a free laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing boarding. Dry cleaning and ironing are available only on request, at extra charge.
Every bedroom has a view over the swimming pool, surrounding hills or olive groves and offers a safe, air-conditioning and bathroom ensuite. Some bathroom has hot tub.
The antique pieces of furniture have belonged to the Bernardini family for centuries therefore they are unique and exclusive.

1) Welcome drinks and appetizers
2) Daily Chef service for preparation of breakfast and one meal 6 days a week(Wednesday day off). Cost of groceries not included. Customers will be charged 12 euro per breakfast per person and 40 euro per meat meal or 45 euro per fish meal per person to cover the cost of food and beverages.

6)The consumption of the air-conditioning and electricity is included in the rental rate up to 2000 kw; over this amount clients will be charged accordingly to usage. It s difficult to reach this limit if the airconditioning and electricity are used in a reasonable way.

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
The Bernardini family was one of the most renowned thanks to the important role they played in the administration of the Republic of Lucca. Every powerful family used to own a beautiful estate outside the city walls in the prosperous countryside of Lucca. Originally the estate was conceived as the hunting lodge of the Count Cosimo Bernardini. At the the end of the 18th century, the property was enlarged to create a small village hosting all the workers of the estate: a small 'Borgo' with a chapel, an olive press and bakers.
