Description

No1 Kennington Court is a modern three bedroom, four bathroom townhouse centrally located in Llandudno within a few minutes walk of the Victorian town centre and equidistant from the two beaches, the North Shore and the West Shore, which are approximately 8 minutes walk. There is private off road parking for up to three cars which is essential in the height of the summer.

This is the second season that the property has been available for holiday letting and we have refurbished it completely and laid a secluded patio in the south facing front garden.

In the low season, the house is available for either a two or four guest booking. Rooms can be chosen on arrival and rates will be lowered on request.

Llandudno has a variety of pubs and restaurants all within walking distance of the house and Venue Cymru, the local theatre has a full programme year round, including the Welsh National Opera.

As well as the beaches and the shops other local attractions include the Victorian pier, the mile long promenade, the two golf courses and the Great Orme which the house overlooks.

The historical walled town of Conwy with its medieval castle is a must visit and is only a few minutes drive.

For the more active Llandudno is the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park but there are plenty of walks locally on and around the Great Orme which you can choose to access by car, by cable car or by the world famous funicular tramway. Once on the Orme there are many sites of historical interest including the copper mines.

North Wales has always been a haven for outdoor adventure but the recent introduction of the Zip Wire in Bethesda, the surf centre in Dolgarrog , Bounce Below in Blaenau and Treetops rope walk in Llanrwst are attracting thrill seekers old and young.

This property is a town house with stairs on three levels, so it isn't suitable for very small children/toddlers. However, children are welcome and it is an ideal location for the park and beaches.

A travel and cot and highchair is available on request.

If you are unlucky with the weather or you fancy a day indoors we have provided a selection of books, dvds and jigsaws!

Equally, if you want a winter retreat - enjoy winter walks on the beach, the theatre, historic castles and fine dining - a great base for any season.

Christmas, and New Year holidays are available on request and No 1 will be decorated accordingly to ensure a festive relaxing break.

We do not allow hen or stag parties as this is a residential area.

Getting around

This house is centrally located within walking distance of Llandudno for shops, restaurants, theatre and there is Llandudno Railway station for visiting further afield. There is a tram to visit the Great Orme summit.

Interaction with guest

We will leave the keys in a key safe and send the code before our guests arrive. There is milk, tea and coffee left and we are locally based in Deganwy should a problem occur during your stay. If you are arriving later a light will be left on and if guests have any queries before hand, we will endeavour to help to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

“Wonderful spacious house in perfect location”

2nd visit to this lovely modern townhouse in a great location in the wonderful resort of Llandudno with the family including little Oliver who loves all the space the property affords. Amanda and David are great hosts offering advice and support at all times, and their property is pristine with all the amenities necessary to make this a home from home. We will be back...Oliver insists !!

“The Wow Factor House”

This house certainly has the wow factor - this is accommodation of the highest order. The location is within easy walking distance of both shores, shops and restaurants. Llandudno is a lovely Town, and is an ideal base for exploring the wonders of North Wales. Excellent off road parking, which would prove a bonus in the summer season. David and Amanda provided excellent support and information together with a very welcome pack of ‘goodies’. I have no hesitation in recommending this spacious townhouse.

“Fantastic stay!”

Great location to shops, promenade, restaurants etc! Beautifully furnished, 5 star luxury. House has all the amenities for either small or large families. Weather was superb while we were there, but the house makes it a home from home in the event you are house bound. Well recommended and great value. Certainly will revisit soon.

“Well appointed townhouse”

We have booked this beautiful townhouse for our friends from London. Grandparents have the ground floor ensuite. Parents & 2 kids occupied 1st floor, both rooms are ensuite. Top floor is open plan kitchen, dining & sitting room. Very spacious & well equipped. They all have a wonderful 4 days! The location was great with walking distance to beach & town centre. Amanda is such a wonderful host! We friends said they can't wait to come back!

“Easter Family Break”

Stayed at this superb newly refurbished town house in a great location between the two beautiful shores in Llandudno. The accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable and the parking for our cars was so helpful. The kitchen and lounge on the top floor afford great views of the Great Orme. Perfect in every respect and we had a very memorable and happy family break. We'll definitely be back! Thank you Amanda for the generous and thoughtful welcome basket of goodies.
