The Basement will be decorated for Christmas from November 19th onwards and guests can expect some extra Christmas features to enjoy.

The Basement is a newly refurbished, modern holiday let that has recently been renovated to a very high standard in the heart of Llandudno, the largest seaside resort in Wales.

Its central location is less than a 5-minute walk to the main beach and pier, and even closer to the town centre with lots of top-quality restaurants, shops, museums and entertainment to choose from.

Close by is a tram station and cable car pick up point to take you up to the top of the Great Orme, an area of outstanding beauty with many scenic walks for you to explore and discover.

We are also ideally situated within walking distance to all the many events on at Venue Cymru. In addition, a taxi rank at the end of the road, the option of tour buses on the prom or a short walk to Llandudno train station, means you can also easily explore any of the surrounding villages and towns during your stay.

Due to its narrow Victorian streets, parking in Llandudno can be a problem - but not with us. On arrival you will have you own private parking space, with the option of a further secure parking space in the garden of the flat for a further car.

Key collection is via a lock box for self-check in any time after 4pm, earlier check in times may be available on request.

You will have access to the entire apartment during your stay. The Basement is all on one level and can be accessed from the front of the property down some stairs or via the back with just 2 steps to navigate into the flat.

Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar along with a welcome tray containing a few sweet treats will be waiting for you to enjoy on arrival.

A holiday to Llandudno should be a time to rest, relax and enjoy the area, so that is why we have designed the basement to cater for your every need. We offer that little bit more luxury to other lets in the area, such as a working fireplace, washer/dryer and even a dishwasher (who wants to wash up dishes on holiday!)

Additionally, you will also have sole use of a large garden with outdoor seating that is a glorious sun trap, perfect to enjoy those last rays of sun on a warm day.

In the lounge is a comfy corner settee and a large wall mounted UHD TV with Freeview Play. We offer 70MB super-fast broadband so you can easily stream from your Netflix or Amazon account. The flat is also Alexa enabled and offers home automation plus a custom tablet portal that gives you news, information, tide times and weather for the Llandudno area.

The high spec kitchen, with quartz worktop is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a self-catering holiday. As the kitchen is situated just off the lounge in an open plan style, whether you are preparing food or drinks you will not miss out on anything happening in the lounge. A dining table is provided in the large bay window.

The flat sleeps up to 4 people. The master having a king size bed and the second bedroom 2 full sized single beds, all with crisp white bed linen and decorated in a tasteful beach style. A hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also provided.

The Basement also has a large walk-in luxury shower, modern toilet, sink, heated towel rail and light-up heated mirror with shaver point.

Llandudno is a wonderful place to visit for a traditional British Holiday, full of Victorian architecture, a glorious promenade and pier with a choice of two large beaches against a backdrop of beautiful mountains and hills. But, after a long day of exploring, what could be better than to return to this spacious and comfortable flat and enjoy all it has to offer until it’s time to venture out for your next day of fun activities.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ellen (the owner) a message.

If Ellen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
