Glynllifon, literal meaning “the house in the valley where the stream flows”. This luxury Country home is set in its own grounds of 7 acres on the main Abersoch Road, encompassing an Iron Age Fort which dates back some 2000 years.

The house is situated just outside Llanbedrog, a beautiful costal village with scenic walks, beaches and local pubs. Neighbouring Abersoch, was voted one of Sunday Times 'best places to live', here you will find numerous restaurants, pubs and shops and spectacular beaches. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a top UK holiday destination.

This 6 bedroom, 4 bath/shower-room comfortable hosts 13 people. The large Country house is set in landscaped gardens with a stream and ponds. Inside the manor you fill find a large entertaining area, separate bar area and fantastic amenities such as the huge whirlpool bath and pool table.

All linen is provided in line with booking numbers, this includes, quality cotton bedding, towels and tea towels.

No pets or animals are allowed inside the house or outside in the grounds. This is not a party house and gatherings, hen dos or stag dos are not permitted.

Living Spaces

Glynllifon has a large open plan living space with comfortable lounge area over-looking the gardens with leather sofas and a 42” TV with Sky including Movies and Sport. perfect for relaxing in after a busy day. The dining area has a large table and enough chairs for all, making it fit for a banquet. There is a pool table to keep the kids and adults entertained on rainy days. Across the hall there is a separate bar room, which is ideal for socialising with friends, or watching the sport.

Cooking and Dining

With the beach less than a mile away you can work up an appetite before coming home and cooking up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy eating in the dining area, alternatively BBQ and dine al fresco on the patio overlooking the gardens.

The 6 burner gas hob, double oven, grill and large separate fridge and separate freezer are ideal for large groups.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Comfort and space reigns at Glynllifon House. Sleeping 13 people comfortably, there is a range of Super King, King and Single beds providing options for single adults and couples, as well as children.

As well as the en-suite to the master bedroom, there is a shared shower room on the first-floor landing and a separate WC and shower on the same floor. On the ground floor you will find a amazing large bathroom, with rain shower and a luxurious whirlpool bath big enough to fit a couple of people.

The house is approached via a long driveway, passing ponds, a putting green, lined with mature trees encompassing a 150 yd front garden and a large back garden both ideal for al fresco dining/ barbeques. Enjoy the fresh air on the patio area with outdoor seating. A natural stream runs along the wall and meanders its way from one pond onto the next before it finds its way to the sea.

“Fantastic house that accommodated 14 in a beautiful part of the world”

We booked the house for a week to celebrate a family birthday. There were 14 people in total with age range spanning 2yrs to 70yrs. The house was excellent and is bigger than the photos suggest. The long dinning table easily accommodated our entire group; the lounge area has 3 large leather sofas; jacuzzi bath fit all 4 kids; the downstairs area is open plan, so plenty of room for people to do their own thing but still be together. The bedrooms are all furnished to a very high standard and are very comfortable. The property is in a small village called Llanbedrog which is a couple of miles outside of Abersoch. The village has a beautiful beach, a shop and a pub so being slightly out of town isn't a problem. There is a road that runs past the house, which isn't obvious from the photos. There's some traffic noise but the large garden is separated from the road with a high wall and sturdy gates, so no problems for young children to play outdoors. The garden is spectacular and with outdoor seating is a lovely place to sit out (when the sun shines!) We had a couple of very small niggles, as some lights stopped working (switch needed replacing) and a shower tray blocked up (sand). The landlord was easy to contact and very responsive in resolving these issues quickly. This is a lovely part of the world, with lots to do - we enjoyed a range of outdoor activities including horse riding, walking, canoeing, running, canyoning, go-karting and bike riding -which were all within a 45mins drive. This area would be equally appealing to anybody who just wants to get away from it all and relax. All in all a great trip and we would whole heartedly recommend both the area and this property.

I stayed at Glynllifon recently with a group of friends, we had an amazing time there. Its a really big house in very picturesque grounds. The owners were very helpful and all the information we needed was provided. There is a small supermarket and a decent food/ family food pub within a few mins walk and a beautiful beach (Llanbedrog) within 5 mins walk. In the other direction there is Abersoch which is a couple of miles away which is a charming little town with plenty of bars and restaurants. This house is great for large families/ extended families. There is sky TV , whirlpool baths, pool table, bar area and a great large table so you can all eat together. I would definitely go there again.

Great service from owners before and after stay. Stayed at Glynllifon with extended family including a toddler, 13 in total. More than ample space in the house which includes everything you need, beds comfy! The outside space is excellent, the children loved it, BBQs on the patio in the evenings where great. Location of the house is also excellent, Llanbedrog beach, Abersoch and Pwllheli all very close by. A great house in a beautiful part of the world.

We were six adults and five children and we all enjoyed the facilities of Glynllifon. The pool table was a great success and the garden was magnificent. The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was high quality. The Londis nearby sells everything you need, and kept us well supplied. We enjoyed several local walks and recommend whistling sands as a must- visit beach! The large open plan living made it very noisy when we were all together but I recommend the house.

For a group of friends or family this is a great retreat. The Budha Bar is great as too is the addition of the pool table. All rooms are clean and spacious and the outside area is great for those long summer evenings. If you are looking for a family orientated location this is a must. the walk along the beach starts on the doorstep and is amazing. Thanks go to Jitty and Rita.

We have just spent a weekend away with the family at this loverly house just outside Abersoch. The facilities in this house are excellent. We were celebrating my Father's 70th Birthday therefore this was a special occasion. From BBQ, Pool table, Jacuzzi, TV's everywhere, a loverly garden and patio area we all had lots to do and enjoyed it so much. My Wife, Children and I went into Abersoch on the Saturday for a Coffee however we couldn't get the other family members to leave the house. This is the first time we have done a weekend like this as a larger family and would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is thinking of doing something special. We had everything we could have asked for and more!!

The house had everything we needed. Very spacious and very clean, comfortable beds and good quality bed-lined and towels. Big fridge and freezer. Lots of outdoor space and great BBQ. Putting green is a lot of fun, but you need plenty of balls since it is adjacent to the pools! Seperate bar area is great and we enjoyed the pool table.

We stayed at Glynllifon with our group of golfers and loved the place. It is very well located , close to the golfclubs we wanted to play. The house has everything you can think of. Several good restaurants , 5 minutes drive.. The men, or should I say "boys" loved the pool table...It has a wonderful garden, but the weather was not that good, so we weren't able to enjoy it... We would for sure recommend this house to a friend...

this is one of the best places we have stayed. the house waz perfect it had everything we wanted. the garden was the biggest asset for us where we had loadz of fun & perfect of little kids to it has ample space for every1. definetly would recommend to every1:) the only thing i could think of waz it had a pond instead of that a swimingpool would have been great but thats just me bieng greedy lol

Glynllifon is beautiful house. It is very comfortable and spacious and definitely the best equipped holiday let I have come across. The owners were very helpful and efficient and the house spotlessly clean. The surrounding area is wonderful and we were particularly fond of the nearby beach.
