Description

Come play in a classic cabin in the woods, the kind they just don't make anymore. Quaint, cozy and snuggle-worthy, it's the perfect spot to light the romantic spark or keep it burning. You can also bring your child and your pooch to this warm and inviting space that you'll want to return to again and again. The place has a magical quality that wraps you in its embrace. And it's one of the venues where notorious mobster Bugsy Siegel once housed his "girls." History lives here!

Included with the rental is the use of the Spa of the Pines at the Lake Arrowhead Resort. There's a hot tub, a work out room, a beach, a pool and spa facilities. The Resort is a five minute drive from my cabin.

My beautiful cabin has cathedral ceilings and dormer windows of painted glass, two decks that jut out into the woods, a fully stocked kitchen, a wood burning fireplace, a terraced garden and a peaceful romantic quality hard to describe. From the back deck you can hear the stream that runs at the bottom of the hill. Fully furnished, with one bedroom downstairs with its queen sized bed, a new sofa bed with a foam mattress that can be added on top for extra comfort, and a very comfortable brand new queen sized "Insta-Bed" that can be plugged in a easily blown up in two minutes and placed anywhere you want. My cabin comes with Free Wireless, a briquette using grill, three sleds and a pair of cross country skis. It is in the Arrowhead Villas part of town.

Rekindle your romance, play in the snow with your sunshine drenched LA children, go antiquing with your friends, retreat with your co workers, go for a girls go wild weekend or just relax by yourself.

Lake Arrowhead is a perfect get-away. It's a place to go to be alone and finish that novel you've been working on or to be together to rekindle your romance. Kid friendly, it's an hour and a half out of LA and minutes away from cross country and downhill skiing, sledding, snowman building and ice skating in the winter and swimming, boating, (if you have the boat) picnicking, hiking, exploring etc. in the summer. The fall finds the leaves are a stunning riot of color. You can shop for antiques and mosey around any time of the year.You are a few minutes walk from The Tudor House - a restaurant/event hub. Live music, theatre, themed dinners and all sorts of activities happen in the Tudor House. In the village there are a wide variety of restaurants, rustic gift and home shops, upscale outlet stores, a little kiddie-land type area with rides for the little ones, a children's museum, a video game palace, a pilates studio and the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Santa's Village/Sky Park is a few miles down the road and Snow Valley Ski resort is in the next small town on the 18.

I probably won't meet you as I live in LA. Out key is in a lock box hanging on the front door and I will be giving you the security code. But I am VERY available to phone calls or texts. I have a maintenance family and a handyman who live in Lake Arrowhead so help is a few minutes away.

House rules

Guests need to be 21 years old. Please try to keep dogs that shed off the couch. When I say pets I mean dogs. Cats are not allowed. There are seven steps down to the front door and a couple of steps to get into the bed. If this is a problem please find somewhere else.
