Our condo is located at the Hololani Oceanfront Condominium Resort in the very desirable location of Kahana. The Hololani is a small complex, only 64 units approximately. The resort is completely beach side, end unit located oceanfront on the sixth floor. From the moment you enter the front door you are astonished by the panoramic views of the blue Pacific ocean! The view is positively spectacular!

The condo features two bedrooms and two bathrooms (each has a new queen bed), a sofa sectional in the living room that opens to a bed as well and a new leather power recliner. The living room and master bedroom each have large flat screen televisions, accompanied by a surround sound stereo system with bluetooth, and blue ray dvd. In addition to new master bedroom furniture, we just installed new berber carpet. The condo has sliding bamboo window coverings throughout, state of the art appliances (a washer and dryer are in the condo also!), ceiling fans in all rooms, and roll down shades on the lanai. Our kitchen is well stocked with everything you would expect to find in your own kitchen.

The Hololani Resort also features a beautiful sparkling heated pool and of course clean BBQ's are available poolside for your enjoyment. Covered and secured parking is also included complementary to our guests and there are no resort fees.

The Master Bedroom has windows that face the lush mountains with partial oceanview, and with the master slider door open, you can also see the water from the bedroom. The second bedroom is oceanfront, and you can hear the ocean waves from both bedrooms at night.

Walking distance to a local convenience store Whaler's Market, Maui Brewing Company, McDonalds, Dollie's Sports Bar, The Sands of Kahana, and much more.

This exceptional condo has the most beautiful views of Molokai and Lanai, facing the Molokai channel where during whale season you will see and hear them frolicking right from the lanai. We also have our own resident green sea turtles that inhabit the beach and waters in front of the condo! It is truly heaven (hololani) here!

This review is most certainly not the typical response from our mostly satisfied guests. We rarely have a complaint and if there is a problem in the unit, we immediately have it resolved. The guest writing this had been upset that we would not cancel their last minute booking (because they were offered a free stay somewhere else). Our cancellation policy was very clear and so we declined to cancel even though we offered a future credit and change of dates which they were uninterested in. They they were quite miffed. They really went out of their way to find any and all things to complain about. Everything mentioned above has been resolved including a new refrigerator/freezer, and the water pressure issue has been fixed. We didn't hear anything from the guest writing this undesirable review while they were staying to deal with the water pressure. Had we known, we have a handyman that could have fixed it immediately for them. Our housekeeping staff is excellent and very detailed in keeping the unit clean for each arriving guest. Among this list of their complaints, I must disagree strongly and confirm that we do not have rusty and dull knives, and dishes and cutlery are clean! We can't control the "wind from the mountains", or other guests conversations from other units. The condo is two bedrooms, even though the oceanfront guest bedroom has floor length privacy panels at the hall entrance, it is designed for continual flow of air keeping the unit cool throughout. The master bedroom toilet/shower area does not have a door, but a heavy curtain for privacy. There has never been a complaint about this in all the years we have used it for a rental. This undesirable review was most definitely by someone trying to get back at us for not cancelling their reservation. Our reviews on other vacation rental sites have always been typically a 5 star review.

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Donna (the owner) a message.

If Donna (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
