“A piece of heaven!” This condo is centrally located, and if you do activities that leave Ma'alaea harbor, it's a 2 minute walk. The harbor also has some great restaurants and shops. The lanai was incredible! Great for watching the sunrise and eating your breakfast and even better for romantic dinners. The view was spectacular, and we could hear the ocean 24/7. Everything you could want is in this condo (fully stocked kitchen, beautiful bathroom with large shower, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, coolers, info on the island, etc.), and the bed is incredibly comfortable too. We had the time of our lives! What a wonderful place to stay!

“Lovely Maalaea condo!” This was a wonderful "home away from home" for our get-away to Maui. Maalaea is a nice, central location, but set away from the crowds. We spent several days scuba diving near Lahaina, a beautiful 30-minute drive away. This condo complex seems to be occupied largely by retirees/owners, which makes it quiet and peaceful. The up-scale restaurant next door, "The Waterfront" is fantastic, and there are several other more casual restaurants at the harbor (in walking distance). Just a couple things that weren't clear to us from the ad: the beach is not directly in front of the condo -- it is about a 5-10 min. walk down the road (no access along the water), but there are lawn chairs on grass overlooking the ocean in front of the condo; also, the washer/dryer is in a shared laundry room down the hall and requires quarters. Overall, a lovely place to stay!!

“Maui Hideaway Excellence” We have an amazing stay at this beautiful Maui Hideaway. Very comfortable with a beautiful kitchen. The view from the lani was incredible, right on the ocean. The location is excellent with easy access to lots of great activities. The owner was very nice, extremely helpful. We would highly recommended staying at this wonderful condo.

“We love Maalaea and Maalaea Banyans!” We love Maalaea because it is away from the crowds but centrally located so nothing is very far away. This is our third or fourth stay at this unit in Maalaea Banyans and it now feels like our home away from home. Side note: working with the owner Nikta is a breeze. There's a little sandy beach just below your balcony and while we were there, it was visited every morning at high tide by several hungry honu (sea turtles) feeding on the limu on the rocks. We could see their little heads bobbing out of the water as we sipped our coffee. The unit is just the right size for two people and it has everything you need. It has a complete kitchen (including a dishwasher), washer/dryer, and even wi-fi if you simply can't be away from your email. The unit is beautifully renovated and super clean. In the evening, if you open the bedroom windows and the screen to the balcony, a nice breeze blows right through. There is a nice pool but we didn't use it much because the beach is right there. The surf is very mild so you can swim and snorkel. We saw many people paddle-boarding and snorkeling. There's a bigger sandy beach at the end of the road (you can walk there in 3-4 minutes). Since we visited in November we were almost alone on the beach. If your idea of Maui is quiet relaxation, we would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely go back. Oh Nikta also added a keypad lock so you don't need to carry keys when you go down to the pool or beach. This was really convenient.
