Touch-free automation! Clean and full of bright natural light, minutes from Lackland AFB and all of San Antonio. Completely modernized with Google Wifi to connect, SmartTvs in each room, and central Heating/AC. Out back is large, shaded patio, and back yard to enjoy. Please read further before booking.

We price by occupancy. This ensures we remain compliant with local regulations. Our base price includes 2 guests, please make sure to update your correct guest count before booking to get accurate pricing. It's a win for you, because you only pay for the space you need! You still have the whole house to yourself -but- we'll close up the bedrooms you will not need. This fair way makes the home affordable for smaller groups too. Yet, even for a house full of guests, it’s far less than you'd pay for several hotel rooms. For the price, it's quite a value and it's a much nicer stay than any hotel, without sacrificing any of the amenities... and you don't have to worry about the noisy people in the next room or booking extra rooms just to keep everyone together. We're under no restrictions on family togetherness. Please make sure you have set the number of guests correctly to get accurate pricing before you complete your reservation.

Once your booking is confirmed, we send you a SECURE link to our pre-arrival portal where you'll verify ID and occupancy (like at a hotel) without all the handing of ID back and forth. (see details below)

Next, we send directions and your unique keyless access code so you can let yourself in.

We take the extra step of curating a full list of things for you to experience during your stay (many FREE). These are found mobile guidebook app - we'll send you the link after you complete the pre-arrival portal.

You're in a very quiet subdivision but very close to just about anything you'd like to experience and just minutes from Lackland AFB where new Airmen graduate weekly from Basic Military Training (BMT).

The entire house is a single level, three of the four bedrooms are easily accessible with no steps (there's only one step down into the 'Recruit' room) and all are comfortably furnished with queen-sized beds (the 'Recruit' room has 2) featuring pillow top mattresses for a cozy night's sleep. The sofa is an easy to set up queen-sized bed in the living room.

When you'd like to freshen up, the bathroom has a newly tiled shower and thick, fluffy, super soft, oversized towels and soaps, shampoo/conditioner.

Your family area has a couch, love seat and oversized ottoman to gather around a 32" flat panel TV with free streaming Cable TV and Netflix. Travel with your own entertainment? It fully supports a Firestick or other devices via HDMI and USB. We've also provided a DVD player.

Your kitchen has granite counter tops, refrigerator, gas range/oven, microwave... and all the necessary cooking and dining utensils, coffee maker, plates, glasses, etc. We've even have a Keurig for those that want the immediacy of coffee over the full pot for more people in the morning.

You’ll also have access to the laundry room off the back patio in case you need to take care of a quick load of laundry.

For those that enjoy the fresh air, the back yard is large and shaded with a pergola covered patio. Parking is safe and free. Your home has a driveway that can accommodate two cars and street side parking is allowed in the neighborhood.

Here's the part you're going to love! You're only 5 minutes from the front gate at Lackland AFB. So no need to rush to beat the traffic for those BMT graduation events. You can find a complete schedule here - http://********/grad-info/bmt-schedule-of-events/.

SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas are close by. You’re located just off the interchange between Loop 410, the inner ring road, and Highway 90 that will take you to Lackland and beyond to the downtown area where the Riverwalk, the Alamo, and other 'touristy' attractions are. I challenge you to name a city where you aren't actually staying downtown but can get there in 20 minutes or less regardless of traffic. The San Antonio International Airport is an easy drive straight down Loop 410 heading north/east.

If Gateway Casita is available on dates you're looking at, grab that booking fast! Open dates do not last long. We're one of the closest vacation rentals to Lackland and with graduations every week we stay full.

This is in a safe neighborhood and just a short drive to food!
