From the owner

"Daphnae II Ithaca House" it's a new house that from the outside looks much like old. (It was built in 2005 to traditional island architecture standards).

It is on the main road, has parking, large terrace with unobstructed view

and a fully equipped house. In the living room, there is a fresco, made by the famous painter Stathis Livanis.

This house is comfortable for 2-8 people, and developed on three levels.

At the first level are the living room, bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with shower and fully equipped kitchen.

At the second (level located in the attic), there are three single beds.

Have, air conditioning and other amenities. (TV, washing machine, refrigerator, stove, etc.)

(no dishwasher, but the sink and worktops in the kitchen are from Corian).

On the the ground floor level there is a guesthouse with a bedroom for two adults and a child, bathroom with shower and small kitchen.

Network of ancient paths pass by the house, where if you follow them, in five minutes you will reach the archaeological site "Homer's School, where recent excavations place the Palace of Odysseus. Also you can organize trips of longer distances crossing the ever green mountains of Ithaca, through magical landscapes, where the eyes see both the mountain and the sea. Ithaca is small but has a well maintained network of trails, ideal for both beginners and demanding hikers.

Why can't I call Gerasimos (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Gerasimos (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
