“Best holiday ever!” This has literally been our best holiday ever, so relaxing and a fabulous villa, we couldn’t have asked for more and the sea views from the villa are absolutely stunning. For April the weather was surprisingly hot so we were delighted. The villa is in a great location, lovely and quiet but just ten minutes’ drive from the town of Argostoli, with some fantastic shops and restaurants. The owners, Sharon and Leigh, had given us some wonderful tips about where to do the best shopping, fresh meat and fish from the market and vegetables from the market stalls in Argoostoli, etc.. We are real foodies and they obviously share our passion for cooking. The kitchen has everything you could possible need, and the BBQ in the garden is just brilliant.
Our teenage boys enjoyed exploring the beach on their own, so they didn’t have to spend every waking moment with us and the locals are so friendly, many speak English and are happy to help.
Even though it was a little early on in the season we did swim in the beautiful pool, and soaked up the sun on the terrace, it was bliss! The upper terrace that leads off the kitchen and living area is the ultimate place for waking up with a coffee, it is bathed in sun first thing in the morning, then offers a shadier spot later on in the day.
There is really nothing negative we could say about it all, the villa is immaculate, was as clean as could be and perfectly equipped. We had honestly not expected as many home comforts.
Sharon and Leigh, thanks for everything, we will be back !!!

“A truly relaxing place to stay” My husband, my teenage daughter and I stayed at the villa Isadora for a week in mid August. The location was excellent as it was very peaceful. There are some excellent restaurants fairly nearby and a small sandy cove for swimming. We spent many days exploring the local area and found all the beaches to be clean with crystal clear water.
The villa was very spacious and was cool even without the air conditioner. The kitchen was a good size with marble tops. The bedrooms were spacious and each had an en suite.
Dimitri, who looks after the villa was there to welcome us with a bottle of wine. He was very helpful and informative. We would love to return oneday.
Kefalonia is one of Greece's most popular tourist destinations and is the largest of the Ionian islands. With lush green land and spectacular sandy beaches, the island is brimming with cultural and historical artefacts waiting to be explored. Why not book your holiday rental in Kefalonia with us today?
Kefalonia has become a popular family-friendly destination in recent years, however its traditional charm ensures it’s also perfect for romantic getaways.
The island is perhaps most famous for its exotic beaches and quaint villages which make for a chilled-out getaway. Due to the large size of the island and great variety of places to visit, you'll never feel as though the pace of life here is too hectic, even during high season.
What to Do
One of the most visited destinations in Kefalonia is Scala, which has developed from a small fishing village into a popular resort over the past 20 years. Unlike some other Greek islands, Scala is still extremely traditional and has held onto its authentic Greek charm and culture. It has a sandy beach offering a wide range of water sports, as well as a selection of shops and restaurants.

Eucalyptus Apartments - Tangerine
Could not fault this apartment in any way. However the walk into town took 30 minutes not the 20 someone else said. However it is such a lovely walk with beautiful views we really enjoyed it. Our bed linen and towels were changed and the apartment cleaned about every 3 days. We were left some bread, jam and water on arrival. We were told wine was also in the fridge. After we unpacked we sat down to enjoy it only to find it was not there. Great disappointment! Would highly recommend this apartment!. …

Amazing Stay at Villa Brio Complex
Recently returned from an amazing stay at Villa No.2 of a 4 villa complex in Skala. The villa itself was in a stunning location on a small headland overlooking the coast with 3 balconies each having fantastic sea views. The villa was spotless and cleaned every day. It had all the equipment needed for self catering and had air conditioning in all the bedrooms. Spread over 3 floors we, as a family of 4, were spoilt for choice as to where to eat and where to relax. The pool area was great with a small (but more than adequate) private, infinity type pool with amazing views. It had 6 loungers and a large sun umbrella with pool towels provided. Whilst we were aware of the neighbouring villas there was more than enough privacy provided by the hedges in the gardens. There was a small private path diwn to a little platform which offered a great opportunity for snorkeling and linked the complex to a small cove called Pelagos Bay. Each villa was slightly different with Villa 4 being much bigger but of the other 3 there was little to choose between them. The owner provided a very efficient service and was contactable even though we had no reason to do so. There is a €150 breakages bond but we had this returned without any problems. There was a small supermarket within a 1/2 mile walk whilst Skala itself was just over a mile taking a leisurely 30mins. Some of the walk home was unlit so we did succumb to a €5 taxi ride on a couple of nights. There were a couple of restaurants within a few hundred yards but Skala itself offered a much wider choice of tavernas. The resort very much catered for families/couples but may not suit those looking for a party atmosphere. However, this appears true of much of the island. There were plenty of options for day trips but other than a cruise around the island using Captain Vangelis (boarding off Skala beach but with a free transfer from our villa) and a evening coach trip into Argostoli (much more cosmopolitan and livelier) we loved the villa so much that we didn't want to leave it for too long especially during the day. If we were to consider returning to Kephalonia we would not hesitate to rebook this villa......and this has set a new benchmark for future holidays!! …
