Brickley Rise is idyllically found in under two acres of enclosed private gardens, previously a part of Ingoldisthorpe Hall Estate, Norfolk. Built in 1745, this traditional house was originally the former Laundry Cottage for the estate and has been beautifully restored and extended over the years. It now provides a high standard of self-catering holiday accommodation in a truly superb woodland setting for up to eight guests in four bedrooms.
Recently just being rewarded by Tourism in England a 4 Star Gold Award!
The house offers high specification fixtures and fittings throughout, a spacious kitchen which looks out across the front driveway and stunning woodland views. An island work area is ideal for social dining and cooking, with a separate dining room which comfortably seats eight people around a stunning solid oak dining table.
The spacious family lounge has french doors looking out over the rear paddock with picturesque views from every window. There's a cosy wood-burning effect stove which ensures a warm and welcoming feel. The room also provides a flat screen TV, WI-FI, a wide range of board games, colouring books board games and a book swap. Bring a book with you and leave it, take one of ours with you!
A second family sitting room allows a separate living space for children complete with a selection of toys. So just sit back and listen to the birds whilst enjoying the peaceful and tranquil surroundings.
We provide a selection of books, maps and guide books for the local area in the house so you should never struggle to find something whatever the season!
