From the owner

Located just a few miles from Fredericksburg and right in the heart of many of the Hill Country Wineries' this 1925 farm home has been transformed into an elegant, romantic home away from home. Over 300 acres surround the house great for walking and enjoying nature. Guests are welcome to drive or walk to the Pedernales River and bring fishing equipment to try your luck. The property has hunters during hunting season (October to January) so be very careful about roaming the property during this time. Being a working ranch many cattle and horses are seen roaming the property. The front porch has a swing enticing rest and relaxation. The living room is painted a soft green to create a comfortable feel while watching the TV/DVD/VCR. A loveseat and comfortable chairs are placed to enjoy both the television and gas log fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen which is fully equipped with range/oven, large refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. There is also a washer and dryer for those longer stays.

Two private bedrooms both with queen iron beds have their own bath. The beds are topped with quality, elegant down comforters. Both baths have a large champagne bubbler tub and separate shower (both of the showers is built for the physically impaired).

Outside the kitchen a deck leads you to a large private area with table, chairs plus loungers, and a charcoal grill. But the best part of the deck is the large hot tub waiting for guests to enter and enjoy soft twinkle lights for those starless nights. There is a cellar located on the deck and although it is not for guest's use it is there in case of weather emergencies.

How do damage deposits work?

If Monica (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
