Villa les Hauts is a luxury cut stone property built in the traditional style, on a small exclusive prize-winning development overlooking the old village of Durban Corbieres in the Languedoc region of Southern France.

Durban itself has a food store (which includes the all important bakery for those morning croissants), a bank, a bar/restaurant and a petrol station .The region is renown for its great wine, castles, beaches, beautiful scenery, great walks and cycle rides.

We offer flexible change over days (not including Mid July - End of August) to enable visitors to make the most of mid-week flight deals. Upon arrival at the villa guests are met by our good friend Jeanne who is English but speaks fluent French. She has worked with our family for many years and will help with any queries you have, and can also book a restaurant for your first night.

The accommodation consists of two double and one twin bedroom, one en suite shower/WC and a further bathroom and WC, living/dining room and kitchen, private heated swimming pool, sun deck, barbecue and terraces for relaxing outdoor dining. The house is furnished very comfortably to a high standard by a professional interior designer. There is Satellite TV Freesat, DVD player and DVD library.In the kitchen there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, micro wave oven and conventional electric oven and hob.

Outside seating for 6 in a sheltered terrace, with a landscaped garden with additional seating areas and views of the medieval Cathar Castle of Durban Corbieres. Teak deck with swimming pool.

Jeanne & Dave are an extremely friendly English couple who have lived in France for over 15 years. They live only 5 minutes away from the villa and they will contact you a few days prior to your departure to arrange checkin with you. They will meet you on arrival to hand over the keys and show you around. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and can help with site seeing or booking local restaurants. They will always be on hand if you require any help during your stay.

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Adam (the owner) a message.

If Adam (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
