We gladly open the Starlite House" to anyone that will appreciate our home and take care of our house as if it were yours!

Just bring yourself, your favorite foods and beverages and enjoy the full kitchen and patio with a gas grill.

This vacation home consist of 3 bedrooms & 2 baths, with all updated furniture & mattress' throughout the house;

First Level is an open concept with the living area that consist of a wood burning fireplace, 42 inch television with satellite, access to our library of movies, living room set, custom panel blinds, sliding glass doors that lead to main covered patio with outdoor rattan patio furniture. The living room with high ceiling is open to the dining & kitchen area. Dining area has a tabletop to sit 6 with a picture window view of the marina and limited view of Lake Livingston. Kitchen has a breakfast bar & stools to sit 3. Updated major appliances; microwave, fridge w/ice-maker, free standing range with oven, double stainless steel sink with sprayer, dishwasher, lots of cabinets, cookware & kitchen ware,12 cup coffee maker, 2 slice toaster, wine bucket, etc...The first floor is all tile flooring.

Mid Level consist of 1 guest bathroom w/ tile flooring & walls tile, we removed the tub & built a custom shower, new toilet & vanity. The hallway (carpet flooring) on this level also has a doorway that leads to the utility room (tile flooring) w/ new stackable washer & dryer & from this room leads to the back of the house or driveway. We changed out the back door and added an updated exterior door and screen storm door. This same level has two guest bedrooms-each with double size bunk beds, each w/ a stair case to access top bunk. Stair cases each have drawers for storage (each room sleeps up to 4).

First guest bedroom faces the back of the house & two vehicle driveway while the second guest bedroom faces the front of the house & Marina w/ limited lake view. Now this second guest bedroom also has new French Doors that lead to 1 of 3 patio decks this house has to offer.

All patio decks are facing the water & marina.

The living area are wood stairs leading to the master bedroom/loft.

Third Level- master bedroom/loft (all new wood flooring) all Cherry Wood Furniture and coat closet. This room also has new French Doors leading to its own private outdoor balcony, which has a much better view of Lake Livingston and the Marina. The 2nd bath is located on this floor w/ shower only, long vanity & new toilet, all hardware, linen closet, ironing board, etc. It is such a delight to watch the sailboats pass by from any patio deck of any level of this house.

If you have a private craft; the marina does have a private boat launch & a convenient store to gas up. Or perhaps you would like to bring your bikes, canoe, kayak or jet ski or just do some fishing. Or better yet, simply enjoy the moonlight at the point of the marina or from your own private patio deck.

The Cape has a private owned 18 hole Golf Course that one may participate. (Additional Cost for Golf Cart Fee & Entry Fee)

Please be safe and remember that the TX Waterway Rules still apply in this Private Gated Community.

The home owners family has helped settled this area since the early 1800's, decades & decades before the lake was ever built.

If you're lucky, deer will come around during your stay. And for all you bird watchers; so many species to document and of course, we can't forget about the ducks.

Although, the owners are huge PET LOVERS; we must respect those individuals that are highly allergic to animals-NO PETS ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY-not even tied or left on the patio decks.

You might want to visit the local square in the town of Coldspring. They have wonderful gift shops, especially antique shops, grocery store, dollar store, national gas stations with convenience stores, liquor store(s) and you will find some local family owned restaurants.

As a Tenant or Guest of the "Starlite House"; the community has FREE Access to the Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Playground Area and to access the Community Pool; one must pay the entry fee. To access the Boat Launch; one must pay the entry fee at the Marina Store.

"Starlite House" will allow to accommodate up to 6 people maximum. Anyone guest over 6 people, child or adult is a $25.00 additional fee per person.

"Starlite House" will not allow anyone else over the 8 people.

"Starlite House" will absolutely not accept anyone SMOKING or VAPOR SMOKING on any part of the property and absolutely NO PETS of any kind allowed for any reason for any amount of time. Up to $250 Violation Fee per each violation (Smoking or Pets).

Must be at least 25 years of age to book the "Starlite House".

Proper State Picture ID will be required prior to releasing access to the "Starlite House"

Starlite House does have a set of Rules along with some of the Community Rules and Regulations that must be followed. No Guest may Book the Starlite House if the Guest is not one of the sleepovers. No Co-Signing for other sleepovers. The Guest that books the reservation is the person that MUST submit a copy of their state issued drivers license is held 100% liable for any damages or losses caused by other visitors or guest during the said reservation. Violations is a minimum of $250 charge!
