RIVER VIEWS. MINUTES TO CITY CENTRE AND ATTRACTIONS. VERY QUIET AND PEACEFUL. ALLOCATED PARKING.
The apartment is situated in the prestigious Bishops Wharf development on the banks of the Ouse. It has views over the river and the city walls. The apartment is tastefully decorated with the emphasis on comfort, cleanliness and quality furnishings, linens, towels and robes. It has lots of natural light and windows to both aspects.Strolls along the river and the city walls are moments away and all the attractions of York are a very short walking distance. The trendy area of Bishopthorpe Road with all its small cafes, restaurants, hertitage pubs and shops are just around the corner. It is also a short walk to the railway station.
The apartment is also very well positioned for those wishing to enjoy York races.The property has its own allocated parking space, private access to the river and has high quality communal area and lift access. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washer dryer and plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils. There is an iron, ironing board and hairdryer.The bathroom is spacious with large bath and shower and complimentary toiletries and has fluffy towels, robes and slippers.The large living room has a dining area, a comfortable quality 3 seater sofa and an armchair, TV/DVD with lots of DVDs. There is free unlimited WIFI.The bedroom is roomy with a high quality kingsize bed, lots of storage and mirrors.The apartment is centrally heated.The apartment is calm and tranquil with no outside noise even though it is in a city location. It's perfect for watching the world go by, see the boats on the river and enjoy the city views. The kitchen is stocked with quality crockery and cutlery and essentials of paper towels, oils, salt and pepper, sugar, coffee and tea. The fridge will have milk and a few essentials. There is always a chilled bottle of Prosecco or other combinations, a cake and some chocolates waiting for you. Our aim is to give you a leisurely start to your stay.

“Amazing place to stay”
This is the second time we've stayed with Sue and John at this apartment. All the little touches really make it feel like a home from home. It's ideally located for the centre of York, but also for going further afield if wanted. We'll definitely be back to stay again, as it's a really lovely apartment for a break away.

“Great 3 night stay!”
We had a fabulous stay in this apartment. Location is perfect for walking into the city centre, beautiful riverside walks and for visiting York racecourse which was a pleasant easy 20 minute walk. Parking space at the apartment is a real bonus. View from lounge window overlooking the bridge is perfect for watching the world go by. The apartment is very quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped, a delight to return to at the end of a busy day. Really appreciated the lovely provisions provided, a nice personal touch. Bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was excellent. An ideal place to stay when visiting York, and totally recommend it. Hopefully we will get the chance for a return visit.
