It is perfectly placed for exploring York, being just a few minutes' walk from Bootham Bar, the medieval gateway leading to the spectacular minster. The Theatre Royal and Yorkshire Museum and gardens are close by and the Treasurer's house, Merchant Adventurer's Hall, castle and railway museums are all within walking distance. “Excellent Christmas Stay in York”

Reviewed 29 Dec 2016

Another fantastic stay in this apartment. We stayed last year for a 30th birthday celebration and loved it, so returned this year for 3 nights over Christmas. The flat was festive and more than equipt to cook a full Christmas dinner, in an excellent location for all York's amenities and attractions. A really beautiful place to stay. York itself is perfect for Christmas, with a large Christmas market, friendly folk and party atmosphere. Also brilliant for hitting the sales on Boxing Day! Couldn't recommend more highly, would definitely stay again.
