Nestled in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, The Arches Country House is a large holiday home sleeping up to 24 guests. A former hotel, this expansive property is situated on the site of an 18th century farm so you can expect plenty of character and rustic charm. The Arches Country House boasts 11 ensuite bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a large entertaining space with a pool table making it the perfect retreat for large family holidays, a golfing break or an adventure staycation.

You’ll have full access to the property during your stay which includes a fully equipped kitchen, a large communal area, a dining room, 11 bedrooms and a large outdoor space. Packed with charm, the communal area benefits from exposed beams, an open fireplace and original stone archways, which is where the property gets its name from.

There is ample seating and a pool table so it's the perfect spot to relax and socialise with your loved ones.

KITCHEN

The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, two fridges, two freezers and two range cookers. The dining room has seating for up to 24 people so you can gather everyone together and enjoy meals together.

BEDROOM AND BATHROOM

The Arches Country House boasts 11 bedrooms each with Freeview TV and an ensuite bathroom. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
