Getting around

There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk away with buses into the City centre every 10 mins. The famous North Laines area of Brighton is a pleasant 15 minutes walk away through the lovely Preston Park. Preston Park train station on the main London to Brighton line is just 6 minutes walk away, it is only one stop (2 minutes), into the city centre and a 30 minute journey directly to Gatwick airport and 50/60 mins to central London.

We provide a key safe so that our guests can arrive and depart at their convenience, however we do live above the flat and are happy to help our guests if they should need anything. We are always pleased to be able to offer information about the local area including: local shops; places to visit; local restaurants and pubs etc.

“A beautiful holiday flat”

We booked this flat for 3 nights during half term. 2 Adults and 4 children. Parking was good. You are not always guaranteed a spot right outside the flat but plenty of parking very close by. It is a really beautifully presented flat that we all absolutely loved. Good beds to sleep in with lovely bedding. We would definitely return for a Brighton break to this lovely flat.

“Fantastic apartment - very clean”

A wonderful week in a very clean, well furnished apartment. The added extras (flowers, toiletries, tea, coffee, etc.) made it feel like home from home. Julie and Bruce were very friendly & accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. A very peaceful location with easy and free parking - A bonus! Just a brisk 20 minute walk to the sea. Highly recommended.

“The best holiday apartment I've ever been”

We spent a week in this amazing flat. As I mentioned above I have never seen spent my holiday in such a well-decorating, spotless apartment. The owners cared about every single details such as washing powder (even for children), wipes, cotton wool, puzzles, a great variety of plates and cutlery, spices. They welcomed us with flowers, good tea, coffee and biscuits. We travelled with a little baby, so they gave us a baby cot, a high chair and even a blender. Apart form that the apartment presents a simple but very pretty style. It's cosy indoor. We would love to come back there some time. P.S. We felt ther as it would have been our home.

Recently restored apartment which is spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. It was easy to book and the owners offered us an early check-in time. Beds, linens and towels very comfortable and of good quality, as was the crockery and silverware. Nice patio area.

“The Perfect Place to Stay”

Our warm-hearted proprietors have thought of everything. The apartment is spacious, light and bright nearly all in white. It is beautifully furnished with decorative touches in every room that make you feel at home. There's plenty of storage in the bedrooms. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is comfortable as ours. There's a good-size porch for breakfast in the sunshine. The building is a lovely brick exterior on a leafy urban road of similar brick homes. A few minutes' walk to several busses, which are plentiful in Brighton making a car unnecessary, though we had one and there was never a problem finding a parking space close to our flat. Perfect stay. We'll be back in Brighton next year and you'll be our first port of call. Just a note that you enter by going down a few steps and there is no ramp.

“Amazing accomodation”

We had a great time in the flat. It is well furnished and had a lovely terrace. Train and bus are very nearby and it is situated in a nice and peaceful neighborhood, just a street away from Preston Park. Bruce and Julie were very hospitale and gave us valuable hints for sightseeing around Brighton.

“Brilliant Base for Brighton”

Great location just outside of central Brighton. Only 5 mins walk to the nearest bus stop and train station. The place itself is amazing. Everything in it is practically brand new. The rooms are very nice and well furnished. Kitchen was well supplied and beds were very comfortable even the fold out sofa.
