Looking for a relaxing holiday minutes from one of the Gower Peninsula's premier beaches? Our chalet is located a three minutes walk from Caswell Bay, a large sandy beach offering entertainment for all ages - from rockpools and swimming to coastal walks and, for the more adventurous, a surf school. Caswell Bay is just a five minute drive from the lovely village of Mumbles, or a fifteen minute drive from nearby Swansea. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards during peak summer periods.

Summercliffe Chalet Park is a quiet, well maintained holiday park with large expanses of lawn and gardens. It is popular with families and people who want a peaceful, relaxing stay and is right on the edge of the Gower Peninsula which offers stunning coastal scenery, walks and beaches.

Mumbles, which is set on Swansea Bay, is a short drive away. It offers a good variety of independent and high street shopping, along with banks, restaurants newsagents, small supermarkets and a Marks and Spencer Foodhall.

Further afield is Swansea which has all the shops and facilities of a larger town, including cinema, leisure centre and unique attractions such as the marine museum and Plantasia, an indoor tropical garden complete with reptiles.

Strictly a maximum of four people per stay.
You're welcome to bring a BBQ but please do not rest it on the patio furniture, patio or grass. Please use beach stones to prevent damage to these.
For Covid contact isolation notifications or suspected/confirmed cases of Covid during a stay, any guests required to self-isolate must vacate the chalet by the end of the booking. Additional charges may be applicable.

Fantastic location !!

We had a lovely time at Summercliff chalets , the chalets had everything you needed , very clean and tidy and just a few minutes walk to the beach . Already rebooked for September

Excellent location for fantastic sandy beach and wonderful coastal walks. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean chalet. Comfy beds. Very friendly, helpful owner. Would certainly stay again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Margaret (the owner) a message.

If Margaret (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
