Description

This is one of the finest properties on Lake Whatcom. Located on 2.5 secluded acres, this home offers stunning views up the length of Lake Whatcom. With 240 feet of waterfront and a sturdy year-round dock, this is a home for the water enthusiast. South Lake Whatcom is much quieter and less congested than the North side of the lake. There is no road between this property and the lake, yet there are hundreds of acres of hiking trails just across the street. Built in 1979, this gorgeous, 5,150 square foot home offers plenty of space yet retains the comfortable feel of a cozy cabin. This home is just minutes from the Skagit Valley Casino, Raceway, and Wildwood Resort. Bellingham is 20 minutes away and Mt. Baker (great skiing, snowboarding and hiking) 55 minutes away. There are three bedrooms on the upper floor (3 pillow-top kings) as well as an additional 'library' space. On the main level, there is an additional bedroom with one twin and one full-sized bed. The lower level has two bunk beds (twin top/full bottom). The lower level also has a full size air-hockey table, a ping-pong table, dart board and large HDTV. There are two SUPs and two kayaks for guest use.
