“Memories are forever.” About 80 people watched our son's wedding celebration held in the flower filled backyard of this beautiful home. We first had a blast square dancing on the lawn, then enjoyed the ceremony and then a reception that lasted far into the beautiful summer evening.
Out of town family members stayed here during the wedding week. It was such fun to have the bride's and the groom's families have a place that was big enough to accommodate all of us meeting together for fun and wedding activities. Both my son and his wife had ample time to visit with each other's families during this week long celebration.
The grandchildren had a wonderful time playing in the park just down the street when they weren't playing chase in the back yard, while the adults watched them from the large deck. The sun room allowed the older generation to feel a part of the activities w/o being outside in the sun. The park behind the house is beautiful and has wide paths that easily accommodated the groups that went back and forth to the beautiful falls.
The house itself is beautiful. The attention to detail is quite remarkable. Moore and his father built the house and it is a work of skill. Being clean was an important consideration and this met all expectations. Moore was available at most any time for any questions we had and for suggestions of things to do and places to go. We didn't need to eat out as a group, the dining room table was huge and the kitchen a dream. Those that wanted could eat outside on the deck.
The house is close to shopping and anything we needed was minutes away.
This is a house built for families and celebrations. It was a delightful time, one full of memories we will all cherish.
“Lovely family retreat space” Our extended family stayed at Cedar Tree House for a family reunion last august. Keeping everyone comfortable and entertained is always a hard thing to do, but at Cedar Tree it was easy! The kids loved all of the outdoor areas- the deck, the beautiful wooded area, the basketball hoop, the fire pit field, and the patio swing. The adults liked the fully equipped kitchen, living room (with cable!), the BBQ area and the yurt. Cedar tree was a lovely place to gather, and enjoy NW Washington at it's best.
