Description from owner

Description

Originally a fisherman's cottage, Tyn Llan has been stylishly modernised to make a luxurious centrally heated two bedroom holiday home. It has an unrivalled position facing south looking across Cardigan Bay and giving direct access to a safe award winning beach with excellent swimming, surfing and sailing. There are stunning beach and cliff walks direct from the door and Aberdaron's shops, cafes and hostelries are all within 2 minutes walk.

The front door opens through a feature porch and then you enter the stunning modern living accommodation, with heated terracotta ceramic tile floor and log burning stove, leather upholstery and studio style stone topped kitchen area generously equipped with modern appliances. There is oil fired central heating, a flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD and CD/radio with ipod dock, BT WiFi broadband throughout the property and telephone with free UK calls.

The double glazed front window looks straight out on to the beach. The modern and airy kitchen and dining area has an extendable table with 4 designer chairs, a microwave, dishwasher, freezer and other modern appliances. The bathroom is on the ground floor with a large feature shower and heated floor and towel rails. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the outhouse two bedrooms on the first floor. Upstairs the front room has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and en suite toilet. The view directly onto the beach and the sea is simply stunning; the second bedroom has twin beds and a fitted wardrobe. A cot and high chair are available.

Outside at the front there a delightful slate patio overlooking the beach and slipway, as well as St Hywyn's Church, Cardigan Bay and the Gull Islands. There are two car parking spaces in a private area two minutes walk away. Tyn Llan is 4 star rated by Visit Wales.

“Top quality accommodation and location”

Reviewed 5 May 2017

We've been visiting Aberdaron for 20odd years now and I have stayed in various types of accommodation , but I have to say Tyn Llan is by far the most comfortable and convenient place we've had the pleasure of staying in. Aberdaron has limited entertainment once the sun goes down but is vibrant and full of activity during the day. Tyn Llan is perfectly located to take advantage of this and has all you would expect from any top quality accommodation from the fully fitted kitchen to fantastic multi option heating solutions that are perfect for the cooler periods when relaxing. Wifi , Satelite TV (could probably do with an upgrade ). The only downside was the early arrival of the cleaning lady on the day of departure who was a tad pushy to get us out the door as it was a bank holiday and she was busy! Would recommend but look to arrange a later departure if you can to take advantage of the location.
