“A beautiful old house (the highest house in Tarn) with spectacular views and the right degree of isolation.” Our 6th stay at Mille Founs and possibly the best yet (all so good it's hard to judge). Tranquility epitomised!! Improvements to the house this year are excellent - WiFi so essential nowadays; new satellite TV with access to BBC/ITV and good stock of DVD's - sad but comforting for cooler evenings. All pretty perfect for us......so "here's to the next time"!

“Beautiful, well equipped home with direct river access” The spacious, well equipped house accommodated our party of 8 comfortably. We were an extended family group ranging from teenagers to their grandparents and the facilities suited us perfectly. The pool is large, clean and set in attractive grounds with views of the mountains. There is a range of indoor and outdoor seating for dining and relaxing with plenty of communal space for a large group. The pretty town of Ceret, with its wide range of cafes and restaurants, is about a twenty minute walk away. The supermarket, which sells pastries and fresh baguettes is only a two minute walk - very convenient! The highlight of our stay was the river, which can be accessed directly down a private path from the back of the house. The teenagers loved swimming, climbing over rocks and flinging themselves off into the water, while their parents and grandparents paddled in the shallows and enjoyed watching from the shade. Finally, Stephen replied to all our queries very quickly and provided all the information we needed so the booking and admin side of things was very smooth too. Thank you Stephen and Sarah for a wonderful holiday.

“Beautifully located farm with great hosts” The guest area, an old stone farmhouse, was simple but modern with a wonderful view of the valley and the Najac village and castle. The farm is a working farm and our young daughters were welcome to help feed the pigs daily. The animals are farm animals but treated in the old fashioned way that is so humane compared to most farm animals today. We got great advice for short day trips to both historical sites and places the kids would love. We couldn't give a better recommendation. For either a family stay or a romantic getaway it's a great choice.

“Lovely property and very welcoming owners” We stayed in the message blue end cottage which was full of character and had nice terraces outdoors. The facilities on site are great for a young family, good sized pool and large grounds that are well tended and with lots of room for our boys to roam around. Owners are very helpful and approachable and they have extensive local knowledge and contacts.

“There is a postcard scene everywhere you look!” In the morning it's a pleasant stroll to the patisserie or the beach if you prefer. Tuesday is the local market where robust produce, meats, cheese and wine tempt your pallet. Lunchtime offers waterfront dining a strolling musician and the pleasant springtime sun. This location is absolutely prime for day trips and attractions abound from medieval castles to breath taking views of the Mediterranean sea, hillside monasteries and famous artists works and haunts like Salvadore Dali. Our stay in Collioure was by far the best vacation we've been on. It was a feast for our senses and minds. The quaint but modern apartment is a quiet refuge at the end of your day's travel. It will efficiently meet your needs whether you prepare a gourmet meal or enjoy a glass of the local wine before your evening stroll to one of the many fine restaurants. We particularly enjoyed breakfast out on the loggia! Cannot wait to go back!!

“A peaceful and beautiful place to relax and unwind.” We were warmly welcomed to La Pendarie and had a most enjoyable week exploring the area (mostly on bikes) and relaxing by the stunning pool. Our hosts ensured our comfort at all times but did not intrude in any way. The gardens were beautiful, particularly the lavender alongside the pool and the extensive views fabulous........it was a really lovely place to stay.

“a very relaxing and fun time” We had a very relaxing and fun time in Collioure! The apartment was great (the right size for us, in a nice and quiet location, fully equipped kitchen/ living room/ bathroom, and with books/ travel guides and even DVDs -- it felt more like home rather than a hotel), the town is beautiful (it reminded me of home -- I'm from Greece) and the nature around Collioure very diverse. We will come back! The weather wasn't on our side -- it was unseasonably cool and rainy -- but that didn't spoil it at all for us! BTW we followed your restaurant recommendations! They were very good!

“A lovely property set in a beautiful area to explore at your leisure.” We were made very welcome by our hosts Steve & Andrea. They made suggestions of the best places to visit & always had time to have a friendly chat. The cottage was delightful with everything you need to self cater if you wish. It was lovely to come back after a hot day and have drinks & a swim in the spotless pool. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'Les Fontaines' & would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful, peaceful area with lots to see & do only a short drive away.
