“Villa holiday” Our second at the villa with our friends. The village is so pretty, the locals are warm and friendly.
The villa is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The pool is lovely and was in constant use, along with the outdoor kitchen area. Friends and us took our sons who also enjoyed the Villa.
The owners are wonderful. So helpful and really friendly.
For us this is a special place indeed and highly recommend to all.
We will go back!
“A well equipped house, centrally located in a lively market town.” The house was exceptionally well equipped and tastefully decorated with all you could need for a comfortable stay. It is conveniently located for acess to the numerous bars and shops. The downside of this is the noise from late night revellers at the weekend but more particularly the church bells which chime twice on the hour and once on the half hour! Despite the quality bed and airy bedroom with fan supplied, sleep was limited!
Olonzac is close to lovely walking areas and the proximity to the Canal du Midi and the Lac de Jouare provided tranquil areas to visit.
“Wonderful house, lovely pool, spectacular views, equal fantastic holiday” Description and photos are unable to do this property justice.Lovely large pool, plenty of garden space, and great size property and layout. T v and play station to amuse kids when not in pool. Spectacular views across to Quillan and Pyrenees. Could be a little remote for some but we absolutely loved it. Will certainly return.
“Fantastic Experience, Wonderful Home!!” My family (children 6 & 16) stayed for a week in June. The house was perfect for us. Everything we needed was readily available and it absolutely oozed with charm throughout. There was plenty of room for all of us and more. The house is full of lovely furnishings and touches of whimsy. The courtyard was perfect for the kids and adults alike. I tell you, nothing was better than dining al fresco in that courtyard after St. Antonin market day. Rotisserie chicken & pasta, salami and cheese, fresh fruits & vegetables and wine. Ah, some of the best memories ever!
We absolutely loved the location. It was easy to get to larger towns and cities for day trips. Yet always wonderful to come back at the end of the day to Verfeil, and take a walk at sunset or simply relax and enjoy a glass of wine.
The town itself is small and extremely quaint. There is one lovely restaurant that we frequented, and keep in touch with the staff through email. Also nice little shop for essentials within walking distance with yummy croissants! The children had their pain au chocolate nearly every day.
Nearby there is plenty to do for everyone. Very picturesque countryside and villages. I can't tell you how many photos I took! And the kayaking is a must for visitors. Gorgeous scenery!
If I could've stayed there forever, I surely would have! We will be back as often as possible. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!
