“a very relaxing and fun time” We had a very relaxing and fun time in Collioure! The apartment was great (the right size for us, in a nice and quiet location, fully equipped kitchen/ living room/ bathroom, and with books/ travel guides and even DVDs -- it felt more like home rather than a hotel), the town is beautiful (it reminded me of home -- I'm from Greece) and the nature around Collioure very diverse. We will come back! The weather wasn't on our side -- it was unseasonably cool and rainy -- but that didn't spoil it at all for us! BTW we followed your restaurant recommendations! They were very good!

“Great location, great facilities!” Stayed for a week at the lovely Hibiscus House. Very well located just 20 minutes walk from Cite carcassonne in a residential street. The gite is very well laid our with excellent use of space for a couple or family of four. The gite comprises of the lower half of a house with an apartment to let upstairs. The lovely owners live in a house at the bottom of the garden. The huge living/ bedroom has a king size bed plus a set of bunk beds and possibly an extra pull out bed. It has two three seater sofas around a large coffee table facing a large to with limited access to sky channels. There is a good supply of DVDs and videos. There is a double wardrobe if you wish to use it. The shower room is just off this large room and was perfect for us two. Good supply of towels. The kitchen is very large and extremely well equipped with kettle, coffee machine, teapot, cafetière , microwave, dishwasher and an good assortment of crockery and cutlery. All the appliances work well including the huge cooker and oven.the garden is lovely with a fenced off area for the guests above and with the temperatures soaring to 38 degrees we were very appreciative of the bijou but perfect pool to dip in and cool down. This is a well supplied and easy gite to use. We had access to a washing machine and dryer which was handy during our stay. The owners, wendy and Paul were very friendly and welcoming and we would have no hesitation in booking here again if we were in the area.

“modern facilities and amenities and easy access to historic town centre” Very comfortable and modern apartment about 10 mins walk from the very centre of historic and very french Provence town of Uzes. Owners could not have been more helpful, and facilities met all the descriptions. Parents of the owner also picked us up at the bus station and showed us how everything worked. Apartment is quiet, and well positioned for a easy 10 min walk into the very heart of this delightful town - loads of good restaurants, fantastic twice weekly market, and lots to see. We are walkers, and spent the week exploring the many trails and paths locally - did not take a car, and buses were very good.

“Great Appartement!” We spent a month in France recently taking in a Canal du Midi boat trip, a week in Appartement Francois in Pezenas, and a week in Paris. It was our unanimous choice that Pezenas was the the best of these. The town itself, in the Languedoc region, is conveniently situated to the Med, Beziers, Carcassonne, Montpellier, and Nimes. It has a rich history and many, many old buildings situated on narrow, cobbled streets that provide endless interest. It has a link to Moliere, though the Scenovision show at Tourist Office was quite weak and boring. The "Door Museum" is more interesting than it might sound and many more imposing doors can be seen throughout the old part of town. The Tourist Office's guided walk is a good way to see the many places of interest, as well as artisan studios of many varieties. On the outskirts, though still well within walking distance, are many antique stores. Close to the Appartement are many bistros and restaurants, as well as bakeries, and a perfectly adequate supermarket. There is also a large Carrefour a short drive away. Driving distance away are more wineries, with excellent and hospitable wine tastings, than you could possibly, and safely, visit as well as other interesting villages. Saint Guilhem le Desert was a favourite, thought extremely busy even in October. Close by is a fascinating underground cave complex, the Grotte de Clamouse, which offers a 1 km tour of the stalagmites, stalactites, and other wonderful geological structures. The Appartement itself is a gem! Located in a pedestrian only zone, easy walking distance from several car parks, it is a quiet and peaceful oasis on the first floor of an old stone building. Inside, however, you will find a modern two bedroomed unit with everything you could possibly want in a vacation rental. The kitchen is well equipped, the sofas comfortable, and there is a great selection of music to play through the hifi units located in the sitting room and the master bedroom. The owners have supplied an informative folder of information about the apartment, the town, and the surrounding area. All in all, a great vacation spot that I recommend highly.

“Great location in the heart of town-Cycling Central” We had a week in Bagorre in this appartment . Fantastic location with everything at our doorstep .Very comfortable accommodation with a sense of almost being a local .The english speaking owner and managers made us feel at home right away . The only problem we did have was getting our bicycles up the spiral stairway ,although there is storage for them downstairs, otherwise we really enjoyed ourselves there .

“Perfect location, highly recommended!” Wow! What a fabulous holiday! The apartment is spacious and ideally situated in the centre of town. The owner was fabulous, communicating with us every step of the way and offering loads of advice about things to do in the area. (The swimming lake at Puivert, just 10-15 minutes away was lovely!) We were given a warm welcome by the key holder and found the apartment clean and modern and the roof terrace has the most spectacular views! We really couldn't have asked for more. A week simply wasn't long enough! My advice- stay for two!!

“A great holiday home” As we were staying for a month in the ground floor flat for a month, we also rented this 1st floor flat for 2 weeks for friends and family. Such a success, as we could be together when we wanted but not in each other's hair - perfect arrangement!! And everyone who stayed loved the flat and Ceret. Definitely plan to do this again.
