“Very clean and comfortable and really nice to home to after fair” The service was great. We arrived after midnight and were met by Peira and her husband at the train station after travelling for 17 hours and their welcome was very friendly and warm. They helped us with our luggage both to and from the station which was brilliant. The apartment is well equipped, modern, well-appointed and spotless with lovely views of the harbour, headland and vineyards. There are a lot of stairs but that's the Cinque Terre experience and because our luggage was carried for us, it wasn't an issue. Manarola was our favorite village and as all the low walks are currently closed, the high walks can be strenuous and slippery but very rewarding. Walking in the vineyards listening to the locals talking while they work is really special and the views are spectacular.
“Fantastico!” We recently stayed at Mediterraneo 1 on our trip to Manarola and everything, from the minute we arrived in town until we sadly departed, was fantastico! The rental agency is so nice and easy to deal with, the apartment was exactly as we expected, very comfortable and had everything we needed on the nights we decided to stay in and cook for ourselves. But the view from the big patio was the best part! Absolutely breathtaking! The sunsets, the sea, the wine, the town, all can be drank in from the patio. Yes it's a hike to get up there, but if there wasn't, there wouldn't be a view. We will be back.
“Great view and very helpful staff and owner” We stayed for a week in this wonderfully renovated apartment with fantastic views over the Manarola harbour. The Cinque Terre villages have great food, swimming, hiking and scenery.
The owner of the apartment is very helpful as are the staff at the management office, including helping us when we managed to break the front door key in the lock on a Sunday afternoon.
We would highly recommend this apartment with the only draw back being the many stairs to get there, which is not the fault of the apartment, but a result of its location (which gives it its great view).
“Incredible view!” This apartment was perfect for our stay in the Cinque Terre. Manarola is charming, and not as crowded as some of the other towns. The apartment is quiet, and overlooks the town and the sea. We ate dinner every night on the small balcony.
“Lovely place to call home” Clean, attractive, well-supplied apartment. Bedroom has lots of storage space; pullout couch in main room was quite comfortable. Lovely view from above of tides crashing against the walls of the harbour. This town and this apartment were highlights of our very successful 5 weeks in Italy!
