We stayed already the second time Scaletta Holiday House and we have always had a great time there.
The house is clean, cozy, very well furnished and the location in which it is located is also perfect for a holiday without a car. The lake can be reached on foot and in the historic center of Bracciano you can find everything you need. From Bracciano to Rome there is a train which takes you in less than an hour to the center of the capital.
Ilaria was always very friendly and amazingly helpful, giving us advices and helped us with all sorts of information. We always felt right at home and we will definitely come back to Scaletta! …
Former Medieval mansion near Rome, lake, free wi-fi
A character property in a great location
A spacious and well-equipped apartment right in the centre of this charming little town, a short walk from the shops, the lake and the railway station (for days out in Rome). Lots of good restaurants. It's also right by the castle which is well worth a visit; if you have a car there is a lot more to see in the area. There is lots of free parking in the town but it can get rather full at times. Our host Marina was very firendly and helpful.
Much quieter and more comfortable than staying in Rome! …
Cottage by Lake Bracciano Rome
A relaxing week by the pool
The fine weather during our week meant that we didn't stray far from this comfortable cottage, with the town and the lake an easy walk away. It's unusual to find a pool with a villa accommodating as few as 2/3 and we made the best of it. Fiore, the owner who lives next door, was respectful of our privacy and did everything to make our stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. A very enjoyable week. …

La spiaggetta:unique location on the lake shore
A superb villa in a great location
We spent 2 wonderful weeks at Bracciano; enjoyed the villa to the full, including beach, pool, gardens, beautiful villa and grand piano...what a treat; I hadn't played on one since at school, so many years ago.
The restaurants in Bracciano are the best! We did venture out of town, and had some lovely meals, but returned the next night to more local.
The castle in Bracciano is a must!
Also Rome is only an hour away by train and easy peasey!! …
