“Fantastic appartment, perfect location!” Spent a fantastic week in Budapest and this place served as a perfect base for exploring all this city had to offer. Very nicely decorated and furnished if a little femmine but as modern men we appreciated the effort and attention to detail! Its location is great and the best reasturant/cafe we found all week is less than a minute round the corner. Dealing with Hajnal was a pleasure, would and will reccomend this place to anyone. Thanks.
“Georgeous appartement, excellent Budapest guiding with the handsome owner who speaks fluent english.” The area is in the centre of Budapest,actually my appartement was very quiet,so after a long day and night hang out I slept so well.Next day I wanted to see the historical Budapest, but I had only my map,so I called up the owner for help,and my luck- He came to heleped me out in a minute.He offered for me very good options.He would guide me all around with his arconditioned car,or He
can come with me by walk if I want. So we calculate a grate deal out,and finally I choose both of them. He speaks fluent english and He has wery good sence of humor as well,so I had a great time..The appartement has own gym in the huge room so I worked out in the morning,after I used the jacussi.Actually I loved it.. was so relaxing. Couple blocks away is a good food store,so I bought healty food for myself..for lunch I went out..Lunch places is all around the Oktogon.The owner showed those places too.Hello Baby bar is just couple bloks away at the Oktogon,so I didn't need to use cab to get home.The Margaret Island also takes couple minutes for my early jogging.Excellent.The owner showed that too as well,and jogged with me for once when I prefered.So at last but not least I had a wonderful time in Budapest even if I was by myself.
But I was not alone. I recommend to all travellers this beautiful place and appartement with this polite owner who was always there for me when I needed..I wish for a good holiday to everyone in Budapest...Best regards, Pamela Jones from Miami, FL. USA
“Beautiful apartment in prime location” We stayed 5 nights at this recently renovated apartment. We loved it, very clean and modern, comfy bed and loved the use of space. We had everything we needed and more. Was great to have a washer/dryer. Location excellent, 15/20 minute walk to most places and close to transport links. Andy, the owner was very friendly and helpful. It was very good value for money.
A few tips though, especially if staying in summer when the sun comes up early; due to lack of curtains it gets quite bright when the sun comes up (even when the weather is grey) so bring an eye mask if you intend on sleeping in past 6.30am. You may also appreciate ear plugs, especially on a Monday morning when the bin men come at the crack of dawn and seem to 'beep' outside the apartment endlessly. We were also unfortunate in that the neighbours had a party on Saturday night, loud music, shouting in the echoing hallway etc until 2am. Luckily we had earplugs! Other than that though the side road that the apartment is on is quiet considering it's City location.
Shower was great, very powerful and modern, however please note it isn't a combi boiler so if 2 of you are needing to shower without a gap in between~ don't be too leisurely, my poor boyfriend had a cold shower on more than one occasion because I was too slow!
Tips: go on the free walking tours!Amazing 2.5 hour tours for a voluntary tip!(Google it for their website) Visit the wonderful ruin bars and for polinka go to cafe nappoli, opposite the apartment. Best restaurants, cafes and bars in the Jewish quarter, turn left and left again instead of right!
We will certainly stay again, albeit with eye masks! Budapest is a great city and everyone was so friendly, I miss it already!
“Amazing Host / Extraordinary Place” What a an amazing experience !
It is so rare to enjoy such a perfect momentum :
- Viktoria is an amazing host, welcoming, helpful, willing to share her passion for Budapest and great inside tips;
- The appartment is just Extraordinary : one of Budapest most beautiful building, a breathtaking view and the perfect location : a few steps from the center of the city and close to all the key touristical areas.
Don't hesitate, go !
“Large and bright apartment in the centre of Pest” This apartment has a great location just off of the main shopping street in Pest. It is a great size and is bright and airy. Rita, the owner, is friendly and helpful and really helped to make our stay amazing. She helped us book taxis to and from the airport and looked after us really well. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely stay here if we return to Budapest! Thank you Rita!
“Nice Location & Big Flat in Budapest” Trendy was the best place we can think of to explore Budapest. Most of the important "Must See" places are in walking distance, the district is just beautiful, a lot of Restaurants and Bars right around the corner. Trendy was a good place to stay, especially if you are out the whole day. Nice and clean rooms with everything you need. Very uncomplicated and easy. Thank you, Trendy, we will come back some day :-)
“Best decision of our holiday” Renting this first floor flat turned out to be the best decision of our short break in Budapest. It is located in a listed building on Erzsebet Korut, one of the main streets of the Old Pest city. The flat looks out onto a quiet residential street parallel to the main road so it feels quiet and relaxed. Behind it there are charming small squares and restaurants. The central location means it is only a short walk away from many of the must-see sights including the Opera House, House of Terror and the New York Palace hotel serving ‘the best chocolate cake and coffee in the world! There is a tram stop just outside and the underground station (Oktogon) is only 200m away on the junction with the elegant Andrassy Ut boulevard , modelled on the Champs Elysee. Staying in this location made us feel part of the lively and cosmopolitan central Budapest life.
The flat did not disappoint either. It is stylishly decorated and feels very spacious and uncluttered. It has fantastically high ceilings – 20 feet above floor at least. There is a helpful and gregarious Irish property manager who is on hand to answer questions and was very helpful when it came to general advice and travel to the station and airport.
