“Glenda who?” Stayed here for a second time and it cannot be faulted. Eniko and her husband are the stars of the show. Its perfect for a big group, loads of room, very good facilities, there is literally everything you would ever need and the food provided at the Villa was great too. We will be back!
“Great apartment in perfect location” The apartment is extremely clean and well cared for. Janos and Jozsef are gracious and accommodating hosts. The location could not be better: 150 meters to the State Opera and Metro stop; 250 meters to the Liszt Academy; and less than 1 kilometer to the center of Pest. Do not let any photos of the neighborhood dissuade you -- while there are a few boarded up buildings (many of which are in the process of being restored), this area is quite lively and very safe. One of the best apartments we have stayed at in any city.
“Bright, calm, lovely space! looking forward coming back!” We stayed for four nights in the appartment and enjoyed every minute of it! The space is quite unique with the wooden beams, the mezzanine bed and the access to the roof. It's decorated with taste with the owners paintings and modern furniture. There's a lot of natural light even on grey days thanks to the numerous roof windows.
We loved the location on the slope of Buda hill, a short walk from the Fisherman's Bastion and the Chain bridge. Buda is a nice, relaxed neighborhood, with many good restaurants, supermarkets and with easy access to most of the thermal baths like Gellert, Rudas etc. You are away the hustle of the Pest side city, but it's easy to get there on foot on public transport.
The owners are super friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay!
“Beautiful apartment in prime location” We stayed 5 nights at this recently renovated apartment. We loved it, very clean and modern, comfy bed and loved the use of space. We had everything we needed and more. Was great to have a washer/dryer. Location excellent, 15/20 minute walk to most places and close to transport links. Andy, the owner was very friendly and helpful. It was very good value for money.
A few tips though, especially if staying in summer when the sun comes up early; due to lack of curtains it gets quite bright when the sun comes up (even when the weather is grey) so bring an eye mask if you intend on sleeping in past 6.30am. You may also appreciate ear plugs, especially on a Monday morning when the bin men come at the crack of dawn and seem to 'beep' outside the apartment endlessly. We were also unfortunate in that the neighbours had a party on Saturday night, loud music, shouting in the echoing hallway etc until 2am. Luckily we had earplugs! Other than that though the side road that the apartment is on is quiet considering it's City location.
Shower was great, very powerful and modern, however please note it isn't a combi boiler so if 2 of you are needing to shower without a gap in between~ don't be too leisurely, my poor boyfriend had a cold shower on more than one occasion because I was too slow!
Tips: go on the free walking tours!Amazing 2.5 hour tours for a voluntary tip!(Google it for their website) Visit the wonderful ruin bars and for polinka go to cafe nappoli, opposite the apartment. Best restaurants, cafes and bars in the Jewish quarter, turn left and left again instead of right!
We will certainly stay again, albeit with eye masks! Budapest is a great city and everyone was so friendly, I miss it already!
“Beautiful apartment in a fascinating city.” We loved staying in this beautifully restored apartment with it's elegant high ceilings and full length windows. It is near the train station which was convenient for us as we took the train to Vienna after visiting Budapest. There are some small supermarkets nearby and a nice bakery and plenty of restaurants. We did a lot of walking and it was a very relaxing place to return to. It was very clean and well equipped. We were met at the door by Andy who was very helpful. We were given lots of useful information before our arrival and there is more in the apartment. We found it easy to find our way around , it is a (longish) straight walk down to the Danube. We would definitely recommend staying here
Hungary is a wonderful country brimming with culture and natural beauty. Discover Budapest – described as one of the finest capital cities in the world, visit Lake Balaton - Europe's largest freshwater lake, or head to one of the numerous nature conservation areas hidden in this east european hideaway, delights galore for lovers of culture or nature.
In addition to exploring the historical capital holidaymakers can take cycling or golf excursions, gaze at the range of birdlife or try fine Hungarian wines and beers. Those preferring a healthy break can indulge in rest and rejuvenation in one of the country's innumerable thermal spas, famous for their natural healing spring water.
The country divides into three quite distinct climatic zones: Mediterranean in the south, Continental in the east, and Atlantic in the west, but overall Hungary's temperate climate means that it makes a great all year round destination.

Superior Appartment with easy access to City Centre
The Appartment was both spacious and comforyable. It was well equipped and had all we needed to enjoy our stay in Budapest. Vadim, the owner was friendly and helpful. Lux New Renovation in the Centre
Spacious, clean and extremely comfortable apartment with all the amenities you need for any length of stay & Lidl supermarket nearby for any bits you need. The apartment is in a fantastic location in Budapest and so easy for walking or catching the bus to explore the city. Train station is also only a few minutes away and we left our luggage in the lockers there on our final day as recommended by Pj. There are plenty of bars & restaurants to choose from. Myself & 2 friends had a 4 night break and thoroughly enjoyed it. Did the hop on hop off bus touring the city, river cruise, thermal baths & even took the train to Bratislava in Slovakia seeing other parts of Hungary we had not expected to see on our break. Highly recommend both the apartment and Budapest and would definitely like to do a return visit at some point. …
