“Great apartment near the river” Janos was an excellent host with plenty of recommendations on restaurants and sites to see around Budapest. You can tell he is proud of his city and eager to share not just the tourist places but the little seen parts where people live. I opted to take a bicycle tour to see the villages north of Budapest with Janos as the guide. It was a full day of cycling, seeing the smaller villages, and learning about Hungary. Highly recommended.
