“AAll the comforts of home” Just spent 10 days at Super Nova with friends. All the comforts of home plus a small, private pool that was just wonderful for a quick dip at the end of the day. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals and dining on the patio is lovely. Mullins Beach is literally right acorss the street, great swim beach. The restaurant at Mullins Beach is excellent...but expensive. We often ate out in Speightstown, closer than Holetown and less expensive.
Groceries are available in Holetown or Speightstown, we tried both and the Holetown store had a far better selection. We did not know that we had to supply extra toilet tissue, paper towels, etc...so be sure to pick those up with yur groceries.
The location of Super Nova is perfect. We toured a different part of the island every day and nothing was very far.
“Best holiday ever, brilliant location, fantastic appartment.” What can I say, Daydreams was just perfect. We were a party of 4 adults and had an upstairs appartment. The appartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay in Barbados. The apartment was spacious with 2 balconies offering plenty of space. The large king size bed must be one of the comfiest I have ever slept in! There is a lovely, large pool to the rear of the appartment that we had all to ourselves during our stay. The apartment is in a gorgeous, quiet residential area in Atlantic Shores. A few minutes walk to freights bay and slightly longer to the beautiful Miami Beach. A 5 minute drive to Oistens where you will find supermarkets, banks, restaraunts and the famous Oistens Fish Fry. Booking was so easy and straight forward, huge thanks to Anna. Anna arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport and for a hire car to be dropped off at the appartment. Anna also booked any excursions we wished to do for us. Anna is a fantastic host, so helpful and informative. We felt totally safe at Daydreams and when we return to Barbados we will be returning to Daydreams and the lovely Anna. I honestly can't recommend Daydreams highly enough and would give 6 stars if I could. Whilst on holiday at Daydreams we were lucky to see a monkey in the garden and fire flies, parrots and a humming bird all from our balcony. We also saw turtles swimming in the sea,a 2 minutes walk from the appartment. Be sure to visit Harrison's Cave, St.Nicholas Abbey, Four Square Rum Distillery, the Flower Cave, Hunte's Garden, Bottom Bay, Crane Beach and Miami Beach. A brilliant restaraunt is Cafe Luna which is only a five minute walk away and highly recommended as is the 39 Steps at Hastings. I would give Daydreams 10 out of 10, Anna we will be back to stay with you when we return again to Barbados.
“Excellent holiday villa in ideal location” We had a great stay in St Lucia at the start of March, and felt very happy with our choice of villa and location.
Martin & Joanna were very welcoming and helpful, but also mindful of giving us private space. Martin met us at the airport and guided us back which made the first journey far easier.
The Villa, including pictures, is exactly as advertised. We had no problems and found everything very comfortable.
Location is often difficult to choose in a destination you are not familiar with - I cannot recommend enough staying in this location near Soufriere / Laborie. It is still possible to explore the entire island from here - it is essential to hire a car but actually the drive is fun through incredible landscape - but my personal opinion is that the south is significantly better than the north. If I went back I'd visit the North for less than a day on the way to the airport only.
