Home description
The apartment is newly refurbished and boasts of mordern facilities in the bathroom and kitchen, new wardrobes have also been installed in the bedroom. The lounge area has a large balcony spanning the length of the living room. The apartment is small but very comfortable. There is also a large roof terrace that belongs to the apartment which has sunbeds and sun table and chairs. The apartment is near but not on top of the Dolphin Pool in this area there is also a children's play ground.
From the apartment you can walk to the Marina which is full of restaurants and designer shops here you can also book many water sports. . You can also walk to the beach this is about a 10 - 15 minute walk, behind the Tivoli Hotel there is a Nikki Beach which is well worth a visit and in the evening you can go the the Nikki Beach Restaurant which is just across the road from Nikki Beach.
A short car ride away there are water parks, and Aqualand for the children.
A twenty minute drive away takes you to Algarve Shopping and enclosed shopping centre with many good shops.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
Vilamoura is a purpose built tourist town, very pretty, very green and very very clean. The months of June July and August tend to be very hot i,e, in the 80's - 90's. There are weekly markets held in Loule and Quarteira. There are sandy beaches within walking distance to the apartment. A short drive away there are Water Parks, and Amusement Parks for children. The Vilamoura Marina has good restaurants and designer shops, a great place to pass the time of day.You can also book many watersports in the Marina.,
Vilamoura / Villamoura Old Village area
The Old Village is very pretty, originally built based on an Italian Piazza, all properties are pastel coloured apartments and town houses with cobbled streets. There are three swimming pools, the main pool which is suitable for very young children, the Dolphin Pool which is suitable for older children, and the Princess Gardens Pool which is more suitable for Adults, although children are welcome. There are three Al a Carte Restaurants on site, Princess Gardens, Zanzibar, and Casa Do Largo all to be recommended. There are two cafe's and two bars, plenty of places to eat. The Old Village is very friendly and very suitable for familys.
Golf is a main attraction in Vilamoura, the apartment is surrounded by many Golf Courses. The Old Course, Pinhal, also nearby is Vila Sol etc., If you want to play golf our managing agent can book T times for you.
There are many very good restaurants in vilamoura, if you have a car you can travel to the local Portuguese Restaurants, it is very rare to go anywhere and have a bad meal. The Portuguese People are very friendly and helpful.
There are Tennis Courts a short walking distance from the Old Village.
How to get there
You will need to fly to Faro Airport, it is very easy to get a Taxi outside the airport. The Taxi fare is normally around 25 Euros. We can of course arrange for airport transfers if required. Prices will be given at time of request. Car hire can also be arrange from Faro Airport if required.

Arrived back yesterday after a great holiday.
Just want to say thanks. The apartment was teriffic and you should be very proud of it. It had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. Hopefully we left it the same way.
