"magical"

St Mary's was truly wonderful . The location was perfect and so peaceful despite being on a main road . No noise and only the sheep and lambs and birds to listen too. We { my friend and I } did not want to come home and as someone else said the beds are divine.Inside was lovely and it was great to wake up and look through my glass partition and see the chapel and the altar with the stained glass window while still lying in bed awesome!!!!! Peter Mathews should be very proud of his conversion while still keeeping it as a chapel We will be back next year i'm sure Sarah stewart

Thanks for your kind review ...it is really appreciated ..
Lovely to have met you both , and your dog ..and do hope to see you again one day ..

"Fabulous"

What can I say! what a beautiful, peaceful, tranquil place to stay. We stayed at St Marys for 2 weeks, travelled all over Wales but it was always lovely when we got back to the church to just chill. Peter has done a fantastic job of keeping it as a church and for people to get the chance to experience staying there. The weather wasn't too bad as we expected it to be awful in October, so that was a bonus. There's a nice pub across the road from St Marys that makes beautiful home cooked meals if you didn't fancy cooking although we made quite a few meals in the church as Peter has made shore the place has everything you need whilst staying there. Oh and as for the bed downstairs, I really want the details of where it was bought because it's definitely going on my list to Santa. I didn't want to get out of it in the morning. Anyway so all you have to do is pack your bags and travel to an amazing experience as we both did.

Thanks so much for giving this pleasing review and for being my first guests to stay two weeks ... I'm sure it was good medicine for you both .. a week isn't long enough at Talyllyn ...so I'm glad St.Mary's gave you a relaxing holiday ...and perhaps you'll come again one day ..
With Regards
Pete

"Stunning location and property in a beautiful area of Wales."

Enjoyed a great break here in late October with my daughter and family. The pictures do match the location and the views across the lake to Cader Idris are magical. The chapel itself has been carefully renovated and is full of interesting features and just fits perfectly into its surroundings. I had not visited this part of Snowdonia before and I think it is the best - very close to a great coastal area and plenty of hillwalking for all levels and some interesting small towns nearby. This was a good time of year to go as it was quiet but still ok for walking. I juggled days at the coast with walks in the hills depending on weather. Owner was friendly and helpful and got back to me straightaway when I needed to ask something. Great walks through the woods and waterfalls on the lower slopes of Cader Idris, if you don't want to go all the way to the top.

Thanks so much for your kind review of St.Mary's and our location ....it's a wonderful area to come to... and I'm so pleased that you enjoyed yourselves ...
perhaps we'll see you again one day...

What can I say to you in thanks for another fine review for St.Mary's ...and to know you're coming back yet again is pleasing indeed .
You said that you heard some people's disappointment from outside that the old Church was closed but I also know that you showed some others around and delighted ,like I do ,in telling them of it's history...
St.Mary's has now got a new future and whilst respecting it's past we can look forward to keeping it sustainable for years to come..
Thanks both..
