Apartamento Azul is a huge modern, extremely spacious and tastefully furnished apartment right in the heart of the lovely family resort of Praia da Luz.
Its location is ideal, being only an easy 5 minute stroll from the beautiful sandy beach and even less to many bars, restaurants and shops.
It has 3 private balconies, plus a secluded pool and stunning roof terrace with panoramic views over Luz.
It has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people plus cot.The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and dressing area and its own private sea facing balcony.
The second bedroom is a huge twin bedded room with ample space for an additional 2 beds to be used if required for a larger family (2 folding beds supplied). There is a second, 'family' bathroom off the large entrance hall.
The lounge/dining room is huge, light and airy and has balconies to front and rear aspects. the front balcony is sea facing and the rear overlooks the pool and has a BBQ and table and chairs.There are 3 sofas including a sofa-bed . The lounge also has satellite TV and DVD, CD,radio,casette and a large dining table. The kitchen is modern and fully fitted with large fridge/freezer, washing machine etc.The main living/dining room and both bedrooms are fully air-conditioned.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The Algarve benefits from a wonderful climate being hot and sunny throughout the majority of the spring, summer and autumns, but retaining a cooling breeze from the Atlantic. In winter it is generally a good deal warmer than the UK and can be positively hot by our standards, but can get quite chilly, particularly in the evenings. The western Algarve is quieter and greener than the central Algarve and the scenery is somewhat more rollling in nature.
Praia da Luz area
Praia da Luz is a lovely family resort and the beach at Luz along with many bars,restaurants and shops are a 5 minute walk or less. The beach is long and sandy and ideal for families and backed by a lovely tree lined prom, great for an afternoon stroll and a drink at a beach bar! All the bars and restaurants are family friendly and you can take your pick from casual relaxed beach bars through bistros to more formal fine dining.The historic town of Lagos, a 10 minute drive away, has numerous restaurants, a beautiful marina, nightlife and historic ruins. It is also a lovely place for an evening stroll around the bustling streets with street entertainers, artists and vendors. If you choose to hire a car there are numerous places of interest within a 30 minute drive, castles, water parks and zoos, forts, marinas etc
How to get there
The closest airport is Faro, just a 70 minute drive away, mainly on motorway. Several budget airlines fly there from numerous UK airports, eg. Easyjet,BMI baby, Monarch, My Travel Lite. Lisbon airport is a longer drive, approx 3-4 hours again mainly motorway driving. We can either arrange good quality, low cost car hire for you or arrange taxi or mini-bus transfer from Faro airport.Full directions and a map of Praia da Luz will be sent to all guests before the start of their holiday.

Further details outdoors: Apt Azul is in a small development of only 8 apts sharing a sheltered, secluded pool and stunning roof terrace. The roof terrace has magnificent, panoramic views to the sea, mountains and village. It is a wonderful spot for sunbathing! Sun-loungers and foliding chairs for poolside, balcony or roof terrace use are supplied. There is a communal garage with electric code operated door and within that Apt Azul has its own lockable garage with garage door for 2 cars.
Conditions
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at booking. Payment can be accepted in Pounds sterling, US dollars or Euros. A refundable breakage deposit of £250 is required and is collected along with the balance payment 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. Cot or high chair hire can be arranged.
