Home description

The architectural design is in keeping with a Roman / Mediterranean feel. The extensive landscaping has typical Roman feel, with cypress trees, olive trees, palm trees and fragrant lavender borders. The main central village area has sunken gardens with natural stone effect walls.

The main leisure area comprises of two large pools, children's paddling pool, children's playground, water park and two Savannah tennis courts.

The facilities within the resort are excellent and set among landscaped Roman themed gardens. Great restaurants, stunning beaches, fishing, dolphin watching, boating, watersports, scenic walks and fabulous golf courses are all nearby.

Vila Baía will also feature an Italian themed restaurant and poolside snack bar.Areas of the gardens will be designed to provide oases of tranquillity and quiet. The specification of the apartments is to be Oceanico Developments highest specification yet.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

Praia da Luz / Vila da Luz area

Luz is a small sleepy traditional Portuguese village that is still unspoilt by development.
The beach and pace of life, make it ideal for a very relaxing holiday. You can stroll along the promenade towards the beautiful beach, and enjoy a coffee/beer along the way in one of the many small sea front bars and restaurants.
There is plenty to do if you are looking for more active pursuits with 4 golf courses, horse riding, and a water sports school nearby.
The bustling town of Lagos with its very attractive Marina is only minutes away.
The villages of Burgeau and Salema are only a short drive away giving you even more unspoilt beach choices.


How to get there

Ryanair, Easyjet, Aer lingus, etc all fly to Faro.

On leaving Faro airport head for the A22 in the direction of Lisboa (Lisbon) and Portimao.
Leave the A22 at exit 1.
Straight through the first roundabout ( no choice).
Take the 1st exit ( right) at the second roundabout towards Vila De Bispo.
Take the turn left for Luz after Boavista Golf Club.
After about 2 Kms you will see Vila Baia on your Left.

There is also a Train fro Faro City to Lagos

The apartment is furnished to the highest standard throughout and each bedroom has single beds that convert to king-size.
