This is a stylish three bed apartment, which is situated in a small closed condominium development with 24 hour security, a beautiful pool, as well as a children's pool, play area and mini golf. There is also a restaurant on site. This apartment is in an excellent location close to the marina and Meia Praia beach and only a 10 minute stroll into Lagos town.
The apartment boasts a fully fitted kitchen, a TV in the lounge with a CD/DVD player. There is a built-in BBQ on the large terrace which also has table and chairs for that all important al fresco eating. There is air conditioning fitted throughout the apartment and two twin bedrooms which share a shower room and a double bed in the master bedroom with a full bathroom en suite. The historic town of Lagos is a stroll across the bridge where you will find numerous shops, bars and restaurants.
The apartment would make an ideal holiday location for those who do not wish to drive as once here, all is close by, so transport would not be necessary. Rental Low Season £400 to Peak Season £780. Changeover day is flexible. If you want to stay in contact with www, then you can avail of the free internet in the Reception Area and the nearby Marina has free Wifi throughout. The apartment can sleep six adults very comfortably and as mentioned 7 people can be accommodated by using the large sofa or camp bed.
There is one bathroom and one en suite in the property. Both have sinks and shower facilities, there is a bath and bidet in the en-suite.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with cutlery, crockery and all that is needed for self catering. There is also a BBQ on the balcony.
Cleaning and laundry will be carried out once a week. Bath towels are provided, but we ask that guests bring their own beach towels.

Crazy Golf, Children's Play Area, Poolside Bar and Matilde Restaurant are all at your doorstep. Matilde Restaurant has house specials of Steak on the Stone, or Prawns on the Stone. It also caters for the younger customer with Burgers and Pizzas.

The Algarve / West Algarve region


The Algarve region offers over 300 days of sunshine a year with average temperatures in winter of 14ºC and 24ºC in Summer, a high of 30ºC can be expected in July and August, so make sure you pack the suncream!
The Algarve boasts some of the best-unspoiled beaches in Portugal, a perfect setting for walking, sunbathing, water sports, sailing, big game fishing and other maritime activities.
The Algarve is well known for its golf courses and there are a number of excellent courses near Lagos, they include Penina, Palmares and Boavista, these are excellent courses and will test every type of swing.
The Lagos / Meia Praia area
There are many places of interest in this historic town of Lagos, it has a lot of character with narrow cobbled streets and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Historical monuments, fishing boats and a marina are among the attractions. Among the statues erected include the sculpture of Dom Sebastião in front of the Town Hall. Another statue of interest is of Saint, São Gonçalo de Lagos, The municipal council has constructed a Cultural Centre in which various exhibitions and culturally related events are held during the year. In the Marina visitors will find different boat tours, yacht hire, and deep sea-fishing outings that can be booked on the spot.
About 30 km away is Cape St. Vincent ,- this is the most Westerly Point of Europe offering spectacular views of the Atlantic and further round the coast the beaches of Amado and Carapateira, - a surfers paradise.
The other sporting and leisure activities available locally are karting at the new autodromo, tennis, horse-riding, bird watching, dolphin watching, walking, swimming, fishing, sailing, surfing, volleyball, jet skiing and paragliding. There are also a number of well-equipped gyms and health and beauty spas.
Meia Praia beach, literally translated to 'half beach', is a vast expanse of sand near the interesting old town of Lagos, it wraps itself around one of the biggest bays in Europe. The wide bay offers protection from rough seas, which makes this long beach of soft, white sand particularly popular with families. Meia Praia is dotted with snack bars and restaurants, making it an ideal choice for those of you who enjoy long sandy walks, while the absence of rocks under the water make it a popular destination for kite and wind surfers. But don’t worry; when the wind is strong there are numerous sheltered sandy coves nestled between the cliffs on which to take shelter.
The apartment is close to the Pingo Doce Supermarket where you can find all you need at a fraction of the home price. The Lagos Marina is a 5 minute stroll where you can find numerous restaurants and a further 5 minutes walk across the footbridge will take you into the heart of the old town where you will find a large amount of excellent restaurants and of course shops!
The standard of restaurants in Lagos is excellent and the prices are extremely low compared to other parts of Europe.

Aer Lingus, Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, British Airways, Thompson all fly into Faro.
If you require an airport transfer details can be forwarded. If you wish to travel by train, Faro Train Station is a short Taxi journey and trains leave for Lagos at regular intervals.
If you are hiring a car the following directions will assist you,-
After leaving the airport look out for the sign - A22 Lisboa and Portimao. There are a number of right hand turns within the first 5 minutes. Avoid the turn for Faro.
Next - 500m after Faro turn, you will exit RIGHT, – sign posted for Portimao. Continue on this, it will lead you to a dual carriageway.
After 3 sets of traffic lights and 3 km, you will see a Mercedes Garage on your left, get into left lane as the two lanes of this road split and the road for Portimao/A22 is the left lane.
About another 3km you will exit right (last time!) for Lisboa/Portimao/Albufeira. This will lead to A22. ( Just before this exit, there is an exit for road to Espana/Spain – Don’t take it!!)
Straight all the way for 65 km – to Exit 2 – Lagos ESTE (east) sign posted from here.
Take EXIT 2 off the motorway for Lagos. You are now just about 10 minutes from your destination. You are now heading for the N125.
Continue on this road until you come to a roundabout and take the first exit for Lagos. While driving towards the town you will notice two BP Garages on either side of the road and an Aerodrome on your right.
Continue on this road until you come to another roundabout with a McDonalds sign adjacent to it. Go right around this roundabout as if you were doubling back in the direction that you came.
Approximately 500 metres from this junction you will see a green sign with Pingo Doce. Take the first right after passing this supermarket and you will suddenly come to a small triangular junction and you move to the left lane rather than going straight into the town.
Take the first exit on this small junction and you will notice a series of white apartment blocks on your right.
( Just a minute away now).
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit and you will see a large yellow apartment block about 500m on your left. YOU HAVE ARRIVED!!

Just a quick line to thank you for the use of your fabulous apartment. It is absolutely huge and spotless, and we definitely had the best service we have ever had in the towels and linen changes. All the outside areas of the complex are so clean and tidy, especially the pools, which we seemed to have sole use of much of the time.
The location is exactly how you described, completely walkable to everything, and close to the beautiful marina, it was a pleasure to amble into town and back each night, calling at various cafe/bars along the way. We have thoroughly enjoyed Lagos, and are looking forward to seeing it again when the seafront renovations are completed, it looks like it will be amazing.
