There are also two sun loungers and a built in barbeque.
The facilities within the Condominio do Mar comprise of a crazy golf play area, a children's playground, both of these facilities are free of charge(a deposit may be required for the clubs).
There are extensive, private, well-kept gardens surrounding the complex in addition to sun terraces and sunloungers.Sun umbrellas may be borrowed from reception if required.

The poperty has a full Portuguese Alojamento local lettings license which means it is fully regulated and inspected by Lagos city council.
Guests are asked to replace any items used during their stay, to ensure availability for the next guests - any smaller items damaged or broken should also be replaced.
Problems with any major items such as the TV or kitchen appliances should be reported to us directly by telephone, text or e-mail and we can arrange for our local agent to visit and deal with the problem.

Many people regard Lagos as the most likeable town on the Algarve coast. Long regarded as one of the Algarve's most picturesque destinations,Lagos and it's surrounding area offers a selection of healthy outdoor activities.Just a 10 minute walk from the apartment is Meia Praia, one of the longest and least blemished stretches of sandy beach in the Algarve. If you are a water sports enthusiast - you will be spoilt for choice.
If you enjoy walking/cycling and exploring then look no further.There are coastal paths to the West of Lagos leading to beautiful secluded sandy coves.Lagos old town is steeped in history and is closely associated to portugal's most famous anglo-portuguese son- 'Infante de Henrique'the explorer.

Fly from most UK airports to Faro - Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch and Thomson airlines offer competitive prices. Lagos is a 45-50 minute drive from Faro.
Take a taxi or shuttle bus or hire your own car - Luzcars or Lagrent are recommended but check the internet for other deals.
Alternatively take a taxi from the airport (approx 10 euros) to the train station and catch a train to Lagos (15-20 euros return) - this gives a great opportunity for leisurely sightseeing of the stunning views on route with Lagos being the final stop on the line - total journey time is one and a half hours.

What a fantastic find in Lagos. From initial contact with Jan and Neil to vacating the property the whole process was seamless. The apartment is within walking distance to all amenities. A supermarket (Pingo Doce) is 1 km away and a bus runs past the apartment block for those who don't want to walk. Nothing in the apartment has been forgotten, shopping bags and trolley etc. The WiFi was excellent and numerous TV channels to watch (if your into that). They have a wonderful policy which includes please use everything provided just replace when used (this suited us perfectly)!!! The beach is also about 1 km away, with great views from the balcony. We could definitely recommend the apartment and Lagos as a destination to explore, all very easy. Thanks Jan and Neil :) |

Wonderful apartment in a good location, without a car we found it easy to walk to all the nearby shops, restaurants and marina. The supermarket was not too far but a bit of a walk for our 4 year old. The apartment itself is lovely and very well equipped, with everything we needed and more, which made our stay very enjoyable. The only downside was the pool was cooler than expected for a heated pool, however all in all we were very pleased and would definately love to use this apartment again. Lagos is a wonderful town and we were spoilt for choice with all the lovely restaurants, we would recommend Lemongrass Thai restaurant as all the food was freshly cooked to order and tasted amazing. Also Lazy Jacks bar at the Marina was lovely, friendly staff and good value food with the added bonus of the football on screen. |

Overall, we were very happy with this lovely apartment in a good location close to the Marina and the main beach. The apartment is furnished and decorated to very high standards. A real home away from home. Nice sea views from the large balcony too. We stayed with a young baby and were delighted to have a high quality cot and babychair waiting for us too. On top of all of this, the apartment owners, Neil & Jan, were very helpful and provided great advice before we visited. If you are planning to stay in Lagos, we would recommend staying here. |
