Vista Baia is a small luxury condominium of just 9 apartments which share a lovely freeform pool and landscaped gardens. The apartment has electric gated entry and underground parking. The apartment is set in a superb location in a quiet area just across the road from the golden beach of Meia Praia.
There are 2 beach bars across the road and a restaurant next door. A further 2 beach bars, a bistro and a restaurant are just a few minutes walk down the road. Lagos Marina which has numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, shops etc is a 30 minute walk via beach or road. Alternatively you can catch the local Onda bus service which stops just opposite the condominium entrance.
Palmares Golf Club is 2 minutes by car and Boavista Golf Club 10 minutes by car.
Our ground floor apartment has a 40sq m terrace that leads straight onto the pool area which is never crowded as only 9 apartments share the pool and gardens.

Full management company service provided (meet & greet service, 24/7 emergency telephone number in case of loss of keys etc). Our management company can also provide welcome packs which are delivered to the apartment prior to your arrival, these welcome packs are paid locally. The apartment has air-conditioning/heating throughout and automated security shutters in all rooms, main gate intercom, security safe. Travel cot and high chair can be provided free of charge. Internet access via a USB dongle is available, this is paid locally and is 15 euro for 10 hours internet connection. The satellite TV has all the main UK channels.
Further details outdoors: The apartment has its own large private terrace which is part covered and part open so shade or sun the choice is yours! On the terrace there are 2 sun loungers a large parasol, a patio table and 4 chairs, several planters, a BBQ, power and outside lighting. The pool and gardens are shared by just 9 apartments so crowding is not an issue, the pool area is grassed/paved and has semi tropical plants and an outside shower, sunloungers of course are available and are free. Access to the condominium is controlled by electric gates and a video entry system and the apartment has its own secure parking space in the underground car park. The use of our personal locker is also available for guests use and this contains 2 x beach chairs, 2 x parasols, cooler box & ice packs, buckets, spades, bowls, rubber rings, armbands, dingy, kite, float, balls, bowls, 2 hula hoops, fishing nets etc (see website pictures).

“Wonderful in every way!”
This was our first family holiday abroad and I couldn't recommend the apartment highly enough. Everything about the apartment makes it an ideal destination - location, decor, comfort, facilities, security. It really is a home from home. The apartment is right across the road from the beach and the beach bars are worth visiting for lunch. We didn't hire a car but the town is walkable and there is a bus stop across the road. Taxis are also cheap and there are always plenty available in the town. Lagos itself is fabulous in the evenings - vibrant and entertaining - and there are so many excellent family friendly restaurants. The apartment owners, Sam and Shaun, made the whole booking procedure straightforward. Correspondence was always courteous and helpful and any queries I had were answered promptly. This is a perfect family holiday apartment. 5 star!!

“Great spot for adults and children alike!”
My family and I stayed at Vista Baia for 10 nights last May and had a great time.
The Apt. was perfect for both the adults and our 2 small children. The pool was never crowded, lots of toys for the kids to play with, beach, beach bars, bus and train stops all within 2 min walk. Massive outside area to play in whether in the shade or in the sunshine. Really nice inside the apt. very modern and clean. Just can't fault it!
My daughter now asks when we are going on holiday to our other house!!

“Excellently appointed Accomadation, in a lovely Appartment”
Although the weather could have been kinder, we still had a lovelly week staying in this appartment. everything you could want or need is provided. This trip was for just the two of us, but i would be quite happy bringing my kids here also, its location within the appartment block means that the kids can just walk straight off your private patio into the pool, whilst you could catch up on your tan and still keep an eye on them. We had a hire car but still walked into the marina area and the old town, 4 or 5 times in the week, its a decent walk approx 30mins to the marina, the old town is further. You can walk all the way to the marina by the beach (will take longer). Im sure we will be back, Thanks for a smooth booking process and great accomadation. Cheers Dave and Sam a
From the moment I booked the trip until our return to the UK, Shaun was extremely helpful and considerate with our dates and any queries we had. Th apartment was everything we could have wanted and more. Lovely position, steps from the pool. It had satellite tv for our teenagers who were keen to keep up with the Olympics! We really struggled somedays to leave the apartment as it was in such a lovely spot. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing break in lovely surroundings.
Just back from a lovely holiday at Vista Baia with my teenage daughter and mother. The apartment is beautiful and contains everything that you could possibly need and more!!! All of the furniture and fittings are of a very high standard.....and the apartment was pristine when we arrived......it was like walking into a show home!!! The terrace is very spacious and perfect for enjoying a meal and glass of wine of an evening. The pool is great and we often had sole use of the pool with it being such a small apartment block. This apartment is in the perfect location and is very peaceful....the ideal place to unwind and feel completly relaxed. The very stunning Meia Praia beach just across the road and even during July it was not at all overcrowded like you often find in other resorts during these peek weeks. Transport links are great with the bus stop and train stop just across the road. Lagos marina is approx 15 mins walk from the apartment and is a great place to enjoy a meal and a few drinks. Lagos old town also only approx 20 mins walk and this is a wonderful place to explore as so many bars and restaurants and shops. We particulary enjoyed visiting the old town of an evening as there was a lovely atmosphere. All in all this was just a perfect break and I would certainly recommend this apartment, no complaints whatsoever!!!! One last thing the taxi service that was arranged for us was great all went to plan :) And the management company were excellent providing us with all the information that we could possibly need and also leaving us with contact details for any problems. Could'nt have asked for more!!!

“1st class, did not want to come home.”
We have booked on line for some years now but this experience was the easiest by far. After the initial on line booking I exchanged e mails and telephone calls with the owner Shaun who was very helpful. Shaun booked return taxis for us and the driver was waiting when we got off the plane.great service. Meet and greet at the apartment was by Paul who showed us around the accommodation. He was happy to answer our many questions about the location and offered some good suggestions for eating out. The apartment was first class. In recent years we have booked apartments in France, Bulgaria, and Lanzarote, but this was the best yet. Sitting on the terrace by the pool reading or having lunch was just a dream. We came back to revisit Lagos after 27 years and after several trips into the old town we settled down to a daily routine of reading by the pool, late afternoons on the magnificent beach jumping about in the waves. a few drinks at the beach bars, followed by an evening meal at most of the local restaurants. We did not have a bad meal the whole two weeks. The beach bars offer great food and service with a picture post card view over the beach and sea.We did not want to come home. “First class accomodation & brillaint location”
Following the loss of a dear friend just before we left for Portugal, we headed off from Dublin, looking for a relaxing stress free break and we found exactly that at Vista Baia and more. All our arrangements with Shaun/Sam prior to our departure and with Gary/Paul at the apartment were professional, friendly and extremely helpful so when we headed for the apartment late that night in our hired car it was great to find that the directions we had been provided with were so easily followed and then arriving at our destination seeing what a fabolous apartment we had booked was such a relief.Also for the extras provided in the fridge due to our late arrival we were extremely grateful! The apartment itself was such a find! We have booked apartments before on the internet in other countries but this by far was the best we have ever stayed in. It had everything you could ask for and more. We are a family of four with two boys age 11 and 14 and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms it was spacious, comfortable and very stylish. It has been finished to a very high standard and it was all the added extras like the electric shutter blinds, satelite tv, underground parking and the most spacious patio area that set it aside from others. It has a fab kitchen with all mod cons and a comfortable seating area to catch some late night TV. The patio area leads onto the pool and with just 9 apartments it was rare we had to share the pool! The patio area has sun loungers, table and chairs, parasol and a bbq which we enjoyed. The location of the apartment was also wonderful across the road was the Maia Praia beach and what a beach! Long walks in the morning are highly recommended! The coolbox, chairs and parasols provided were so useful. There is a wonderful breeze coming from the Atlantic that managed to keep us all cool. Although we had hired a car to get us around there is a bus stop outside the apartment and train stop across the road so getting into Lagos etc would not be a problem. there are plenty of excellent supermarkets in Lagos. Lagos itself was beautiful with the Marina and Old town a delight to wander around. This was our first time going to Portugal but there were no problems getting to where we wanted to go and we headed to Lagos Zoo and Slide & Splash waterpark which were both well worth a visit. But mostly we relaxed by the pool or on the beach and enjoyed the sound of the waves first thing in the morning or late in the evening sitting in our patio area reading the many books we got to read- sheer bliss and after 8 days of relaxation we were ready to face the world again. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone and are hoping that we get to go back and enjoy it again soon ourselves.
I stayed here with my daughter and granddaughters and we have a wonderful week, the apartment is second to none with everything you could wish for. The children loved the pool (there were even pool toys in the basement for the children) The location could not be bettered just accross the road is the lovely long beach and also the local bus stop and train stop. The location is lovely and quiet yet with the travel amenities being so close you are in the centre of Lagos in less than 10 minutes. I must also say Michaela who greets the guests and helps with everything could not have been better. All in all a wonderful holiday for everyone and I certainly will be back.

“Amazing Apartment in the Perfect Location”
My parents and I travelled from Dublin to Lagos to stay in this lovely apartment and I have to say it was one of the best accomidations I have ever stayed at. It is perfectly located just off a main road and only a few minutes walk from the beach. The apartment is well equipted with everything and anything and I loved the spacious kitchen to prepare meals, etc. There is a lovely big dining room table to sit at to eat or if you want you can sit outside on the patio at the table and chairs. The bedrooms are very spacious and both bathrooms were very really top notch. The sitting room was very nice with the flat screen tv and leather couch and chair. Security is really good as the apartment is gated with underground parking and there are automatic security shutters for the apartment windows. I particularly loved the outdoor patio which was well furhished with sun loungers, BBQ, table and chairs and the pool is lovely. The apartment is really easy to find and close to everything. The Marina is 5 minutes drive away, as is a petrol station and the main grocery store. Lagos town is just 10 minutes drive and it is really easy to find your way around. We were there from Feb 23rd - March 15th so it was pretty quiet but we didn't mind at all. One last thing I have to say and that is that both Shaun (the owner) and Michaela (the caretaker) were really good to us whilst were were over there and they went above and beyond looking after us when my mum suffered a stroke the day before we were due to fly back to Dublin. We ended up having to stay on in Portugal and additional 2 weeks whilst my mum was recovering in hospital so it was a very difficult time but thankfully my dad and I had the comfort of knowing we had good accomidation. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to have a stress free amazing holiday in Lagos!!

“Great location, beautiful apartment.”
I spent a lovely relaxing week in the apartment Vista Baia . The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable and the grounds and pool are perfect and just across the road from the beach. I will certainly be staying there again and have no hesitation is recommending this holiday apartment to friends.
We stayed here for 10 days last August and had a great Family holiday. We could not fault the accommodation, as far as self catering goes you do not get much better. The beach is just across the road and the supermarket is 10 mins drive away. The Pool at the property is shared with the other apartments but is pretty quiet and we had it to ourselves most of the time we were there. All in all a good family holiday
